Ryujin 1095 Full Tang Japanese Military Gunto Samurai Sword

It is refreshing to see a China made replica being sold for what it is. There is no attempt to mislead the buyer. The box is clearly marked. Having owned genuine swords there are obvious differences that are easy to spot. That being said, this sword is beautifully presented. This sword will make a wonderful presentation piece for a grandchild. Assuming one will ever be interested in more than video games and face timing.

Very nice sword for the price

I have an original WWII one that needed just about everything and hoped I could have just swapped out the blades but was not possible. Did find what I needed on another site for original parts. This sword is a good reproduction while not totally accurate. The blade is well done, and clay tempered. Everything is pretty good and great for the price except the ito. The ito is not as tight as I would want and does not alternate but understand at this price point. If you are looking for a real display sword or want to do some practice forms or cutting, this is a good option for the price.

I just received this Ryujin Imperial Japanese Army sword in the mail today. Yes, the buyer gets a pretty good deal for the money. I have several real Japanese swords from the Second World War and this replica is a pretty accurate copy of the real deal. The sword itself, bag, coffin box, tassel, cleaning oil, cloth and disassembly tools are pretty good for a mere $259.79 (including free shipping and sales tax). Yes, this sword really is sharp. Well done Ryujin!

This is my second Ryujin blade, very good brand. Decent affordable quality. Everything is well fitted, decently sharp for mat cutting. Love it. A fine addition to my collection. It is the one with the brown handle in the photo.

I picked this up as a historical display. I'm no expert. Both Granddads were WWII Vets who often said they wished they were one of the Troops who got to take one home. This is of course a functional replica with tons of specs and praise I suggest referring to "Sword buyers guide" web site when deciding on a sword. This is no toy, no one should just buy any sword and start hacking at milk bottles and crap. Seek training if you choose to use this for mat cutting and such. Same with the GE Luger, but those are really pricey!

Very pleased with his sword... especially for the price. It didn't come with the paperwork on the blade that others have got but I'm very very pleased.

Well done Rijuin, anyone needing a collection,filled for display as was my intent 100 percent now if they can just come up with the Navy version it would be hot seller as Naval Kuy Gunto are hard to find.
