They stand by their warranty, great customer service
Had the watch 9 months and the top button stopped working as it should. To cut to the chase they sent me a label to print, DHL picked it up, 7 days later they've got the watch back to me in full working order and with a new screen too. Handy as I scratched it about a month ago 😬Clearly they want to keep customers happy which was a relief!Did I miss the watch when I was gone? With the help of my OG Pebbl Time I missed the heartbeat sensing but it made me realise all along why I love the GT. It's just a better more modern twist on the Pebbl.Simply, it does everything a fitness watch needs to do, the fitness elements are inspiring when trying to get excercise in and trusting the distances. It uses a lot of the phone's ability to do what it does, like with the Pebbl, but only the bits that make sense to use as you'll no doubt already have it on you as with any smart watch. It looks classy with a different strap (standard looks cheap but is better suited for sports use), the battery lasts 2 weeks with standard usage, does so much for such a reasonable price. Who really needs to call people from their watch other than for the sake of doing it because it can be done?On top of that, their CC was good each step of the way. I'm impressed in a way that is sadly unusual. It's not often companies deal with people so well. I can only hope they'd be so kind if my P30 phone ever needs sending away.Highly recommended.

A quite successful Hybrid
This is basically a hybrid; a smart watch and a fitness tracker.Mostly the latter though rather than the former. It is a heart rate monitor, it tracks different types of workouts, it tracks sleep patterns, has a barometer, compass, notifications (from your connected smartphone) and can show you the weather. It is easy to use, has an extremely bright screen so that you can see the time even in sunny weather (and it actually is very visible even in direct sunlight; absolutely impressive), has a touchscreen (with a very mild, but non-irritating, lag sometimes). It is also waterproof so you could use it when you are swimming. Has a torch function too. Has an on-board GPS chip too. Finally, the battery for such a gadget is actually absolutely impressive; if you only use it as a watch that counts your steps and switch off all other functions (i.e. notifications, constant heart rate monitoring and sleep monitoring) the battery lasts for 12-13 days. Compared to other smart watches that last for a day...or two if you are lucky, this is epic stamina.I would highly recommend it if you are looking basically for a watch, with excellent battery life, that has a lot of fitness tracking capabilities and some limited smart watch functions.

Good watch - just keep it synced
It's a decent fitness watch, and i bought it mostly for its screen and for its battery life. Battery life is excellent - i've had it since Christmas Eve 2018 and i've charged it 4 times. It's not a smart watch, just a fitness watch. It's good looking and works well as a watch. I don't use it all the time, as i also like to wear a normal watch sometimes (worth bearing in mind for my battery life/charging habit).Good:-exceptional battery life-clear screen-there's enough watch faces..i don't know why people moan-quick to lock on GPS-measures distance and heart rate well-comfortable strap-it takes a bash quite well. i think it has taken the paint of a couple of my door frames.-really good analysis of exercisebad:-gets out of sync with sea level. i don't know how the altimeter works, but it seems to need to sync with your phone to work properly. really quite annoying-i don't sync with my phone all the time, i prefer to have the battery life on my phone too, and don't have bluetooth and gps running all the time-the sleep analysis i sort of gave up on. it's a bit wishy washy, and seems to think as soon as i lie down that i'm asleep. i think sometimes when you analyse your sleep, you can make yourself feel more tired than you actually are. if you wake up thinking you had a nice sleep, then look at the stats to see that the GT thinks it was rubbish...there's psychological affects.

Brilliant! 👍
Have never used smart watches or fitness trackers before so nothing to compare it to, and no preconceived expectations.Delivery was 2 days quicker than had been estimated, so no complaints there 👍Initial look of the watch when opening the box was good, nice weight and feel to it 👍Eagerly opened the 'quick start guide' and that was the only negative. It really was just that, a quick start guide. How to connect to charger, how to switch on, and telling you to download Huawei Health app and get instructions for the watch from there 👎👍👎👍After sorting that, couldn't wait to get started. Corona-virus lockdown means only allowed out for 1 hours exercise each day so that was the trial.GPS connection and pairing to mobile handset really easy, as was setting for what I wanted recorded. Was only an 'outdoor walk' but off we went.VERY VERY impressed with usage and results. Full charts and breakdowns for heartbeat, distance covered, steps, energy used. Display/screen is very clear in sunlight. Default setting on delivery is set to AUTO but go into settings and you can manually change its brightness from 1 - 5. You get a lot of info scrolling through different screens on the watch, and can get greater detail and graphs on the app on your mobile.Very very impressed so far. 5⭐
