A beautiful to hold, beautiful to look at, and beautiful to read monograph on Aalto. If you are looking for a slick large-format book full of detailed photos I might look elsewhere, but the archival material, artful new photos, and especially the fascinating essays make for a wonderful book.

Bon catalogue d'exposition pour ceux qui ont pu la voir. Pour découvrir l'oeuvre d'Alvar Aalto, il y a de meilleurs ouvrages comme le petit Taschen pas cher qui suffira largement ou le Phaidon un peu plus complet mais un peu plus cher. Sinon le livre compte nombre de documents, pour certains inédits, plans, palettes matières, interviews d'architectes contemporains, etc... attention, en anglais...

O livro é muito bem acabado, com muita criatividade no design gráfico. O percurso profissional do Aalto está bem completo e muito bem construído e exposto. Para quem o admira como eu, indico!
