Can this item be put in a seed tray I’m not to sure how to use it ?

The best way is to fit the mat on some insulating material I.e packaging polystyrene and then fit a seed tray on top. Use a tray with no holes and half fill it with sand. You then place the seed pots in the sand. This ensures that the heat is evenly distributed and allows you to water the seeds without letting the heat mat to get wet.

Yes, this heat mat is made of waterproof fabric, which can completely meet the waterproof needs of daily life. But we do not recommend that it be exposed to rain, which will be unsafe.

Can I use a reptile mat stat thermostat with this?

no thermostat, gets nice and warm though. not sure how durable ut would be witb a reptile
