Barbie Wicked Glinda Doll

The doll is very beautiful, a great buy for <$40. Her hair was a little messy and caked with product, so I recommend washing and restyling. The fabric is a good quality, but without proper care it can tear or rip. Her makeup and accessories are beautifully painted. I would not buy this for a small child, unless the child takes good care of their toys.

Glinda has joined Elphaba in my Barbie collection to remind me of seeing "Wicked" twice with my (now) husband. She's beautiful, and maybe someday I'll take her out of the box, perhaps when my granddaughters come to visit. Or not. They probably won't know Glinda and Elphaba yet. Their loss! But good memories for me.

I consider myself a Wicked superfan. When I found out these have been out for at least a year and I didn't know about them, I was disappointed in myself. When I told friends that I just found out about them, they were also disappointed in me. So I ordered them double-quick. SO glad I did! These are incredible! The details are amazing. They are now a permanent fixture in my Star Trek/Wicked display (I know, odd combination) in my living room.I would say that the packaging is the worst part. It's very sturdy, but also very time-consuming to detach the doll from the package. However, I do realize that this is to keep the doll and its accessories safe during shipment, which it did. Not a hair out of place. So although I felt it a challenge to unpackage, it really did keep my purchase intact and safe.If you're a Wicked fan, or a Barbie fan, definitely get these. They're incredibly detailed and an amazing addition to my Wicked collection.P.S. As I compliment the heck out of these, I will add that these are the first, last, and only Barbies I've ever owned. And they're amazing.

This is a wonderful addition to any WICKED the Musical fan’s collection. She is stunning to look at and the bubble gown is very close to what Susan Hilferty envisioned for Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda.•The doll came in a nice box with a wonderful “Ozian” Design custom for her “popularity”. Was in clear plastic when delivered so she was well shipped.•I took her out for just five minutes just to feel the value of her and she is very cheaply made. I’m talking plastic found on those $2 barbies in your local pharmacy cheap. I gave her 3 stars because she is such a Broadway icon she doesn’t deserve any less.• I wish the designers had used better material for her body and costume. Especially for the price I paid. I even thought about buying my own jewels and rhinestones to decorate her gown more accurately, but I don’t want to mess her up.•She does come with a stand to hold her up so BRAVO! You earned that third star!•Completely worth the money if you’re an Oz fan, but I have to admit she’s worth probably $15 at most. Can’t wait for Elphaba to arrive.

Doll looks great but box was damaged during shipping which is disappointing as I bought it for a display item for my collection. Seller probably should has packed it better.

She's absolutely gorgeous. Her face is sweet as angel's and her dress looks more elaborated in person. Her skirt contains different lyers and it's well sewed.As she says in the musical:We couldn't be happierBecause happy is what happensWhen all your dreams come true!
