Excellent Solution to Power an Optional Device or Card
The SATA power extension cables are really handy when installing an optional card (USB3 expander in this case) on the PC motherboard that needs power via a SATA connector. The cable was the perfect length for a neat installation. These extension cables likely have other applications, and are of very good quality.

Just what I needed!
In a compact build I really wanted to limit the amount of modular cables coming from the psu. With these I was able to make it so I only needed one sata power run in my micro ITX nas build. Solid connection, and sleeved in a way that they look like they were included with the psu.

Good bang for your buck if you need just a few more inches for your sata power to reach your device. I only needed the one but having two extra was nice.

sometime things just don't reach or there are not enough hook ups. this is what you need

exactly what i needed
decommissioned an old tower PC but wanted to throw the old HD into the new one as a backup since i had the space. the existing cable worked but was tight as a guitar string so i got this to give it some slack and make it less likely to fatigue the wires. worked fine
