Best jframe revolver, period.
This holster fits my jframe 642 perfectly. I love how thin it is while still covering and keeping the strigger guard free from access while carrying. For me the two important things in a holster are:1) that I can barely feel the gun while it's on me. I can crouch, bend, sit, say, walk and run without the holster moving and without feeling discomfort.2) that the gun is completely concealed. I often wear tighter/fitted shirts and when I do so with this holster, you can even see the gun. This is true in all carry positions. Some might complain that it's "too thin" and it might not absorb the body moisture as well. However, I disagree. Plus, a carry piece is going to get wet, banged, scratched etc.. furthermore, keep in mind that you're carrying a wheel gun. Yes, it's a jframe but the gun still has a cylinder that makes it wider than a small frame pistol. The point is, that this revolver feels like a small pistol when holstered in this holster. For refrence purposes, I am 6ft2 and athletic build (210lb) and the holster fits great!I recommend this holster for anyone who wants to carry a small frame revolver and is having trouble finding a comfortable way to do it.It is a odd that I did not hear of Relentless Tactical before this purchase. Maybe people overlook it because of the low price. However, this holster is far from cheap when it comes to it's build. The clip is tough and prevents the holster from moving while drawing and holstering. Furthermore, the stitching of the lether is of high quality and these holsters come with a lifetime warranty!I highly recommend this holster and I will be doing a review on my youtube page.If anyone knows if Relentless Tactical makes a simillar(IWB) holster for a S&W 686 plus, please let me know at: [email protected] see photos for thinness and fit.

Comfortable, secure, easy draw, good quality & price.
The perfect concealed holster for my S&W 38 Bodyguard. The weapon is secure and fits snugly. My body doesn't fit any charts or examples I've seen for concealed weapons. I'm 73, 5'7", 200 lbs. I wear casual dress trousers with a dress shirt and tie, or polo or t-shirt. Suits are "executive fit" which means I have a "dad bod". The holster is comfortable worn on a heavy duty belt under my trousers positioned over my right thigh infront of the right pocket opening. I keep my wallet in that pocket. My trousers cover the weapon and I can easily draw my weapon by reaching straight down inside my waistband and applying pressure on the top of the gun grip between my thumb and trigger finger. When the gun is drawn, I have control of the grip, my forefinger is positioned over the trigger guard, my middle finger controls the grip laser and I am ready to shoot. When the weapon is holstered, anyone standing in front of me or on my right side is not aware that I am armed.

Good quality holster
Pretty sturdy holster. Leather is good as well as the stitching. Clip came a little rough and sharp on some edges but no big deal. I just filled the rough parts out. The clip also have a pretty good belt retention. Did the leather trick where i soaked it in warm water then wrapped my pistol in a clingwrap. And let it dry. Now its perfect fit on my pistol.

A perfect fit for my Taurus 856 six shot 38 Special
I bought this holster for my Taurus Model 856 38 special 6 shot revolver and had some concerns that it would be too small. Most small frame snubbies have 5 round cylinders, all of the revolvers listed in the product description. Obviously, a 6 round cylinder has a larger circumference and I worried that it might not fit at all or would be so tight that it would be difficult to get a good, secure fit or might stick in the holster making it hard to draw smoothly with one hand.Searching through the Q&A and reviews, several customers commented that it didn't fit their Model 856's and at least one reviewer commented that it fit his 856 "like a glove", which is much tighter than I want for a handgun that I may need quick easy access to in a self defense situation. It turned out not to be a problem at all. Right out of the package, it was very stiff and tight and I had to bend and flex it for a few minutes with my hands before my revolver would fit into the holster at all. Even then, it only entered halfway and stuck tightly, making it unacceptable for safe use. However, all new leather and stitching are stiff. That's why you have to break it a new pair of leather shoes before they fit comfortably.Likewise, you need to break in a new leather holster before it will fit your handgun properly. In my case, after bending and flexing it with my hands, I jammed my revolver as deeply as possible and left it for a few hours, then removed it and flexed and bent the leather again with my hands. Next, I inserted and withdrew the gun from the holster several times, twisting it around aa much as possible as I did so.Although the holster was still stiff, I got an acceptable fit and I was able to withdraw the gun from the holster without sticking. However, it, still wasn't as supple and flexible as I wanted, so I jammed the gun back in the holster as deeply as possible and left it overnight. The next morning, I bent and flexed the leather some more with my hands, inserted, withdrew and twisted the gun in the holster several more times. Finally, I took the empty holster and heated it inside and out with a hairdryer several times, again bending and flexing the leather, and inserting, withdrawing and twisting the gun in the holster. The heat noticably softened the leather significantly. My holster now fits perfectly and feels as soft and supple as a holster with several, years of use. No matter how well the holster fits your handgun. I highly recommend the break-in procedure outlined above. The gun will fit better and will be more comfortable to use.I've attached several photos taken after breaking in the holster. Two of the photos show the gun in the holster. The first one is shows the the position of the gun when inserted with just the weight of gravity. The second shows the fit when seated in the holster with light pressure, which is the way, you would normally holster it. In both cases, the gun is securely seated and stays in the holster even if you turn it upside down but can be easily and smoothly drawn with one hand.
