We got a reasonably priced one. This one when I bought it was$17.98. Really protects the cell phone! It does fit. But it is a tight fit had to fight it a little to get one cell phone. This one fits my husband’s and if I need one my IPhone 10R. This one is all black. Replaced his other Otter case but it was old. It is one big case not pieces put together. Very smooth case. It does not fall out of your hand stays there. My husband thought could buy a case for this phone at Walmart I had to explain older models of cell phone the cases are only on Amazon. Could not take a picture. My husband is using his phone now. If you want the best for the screen use a liquid nano product also sold on Amazon!

I wish I had known about this version of the OtterBox long ago. I don't like bulky cases, so I have generally opted for less protection. This is a pretty slim case, and with a brand that is known for durability. I haven't really dropped my phone in the two weeks I have had it, but I trust that this case will provide some pretty solid protection against accidental drops and mishaps. The front of the case has a pretty small lip, so the screen isn't super safe, so I would recommend getting a glass screen protector. This case allows them to fit pretty easily since the lip isn't too big. It is a firm case, so it can be a bit tricky to get the case on, but I wasn't too worried about putting some pressure on to get the case on it. Def worth the money. Which it really wasn't that much money!

I got the Symmetry for iPhone XR to replace the Defender series case, which is so big. I didn't think I could get a protective case that is so slim, and I'm really happy that I made the switch. The Symmetry case is exactly what I was looking for. I got a black one, so I don't think discoloration or scratches will be an issue. Took all of five seconds to install. The buttons are ready to press. It feels like I'm holding a slim, elegant phone instead of a giant brick. I wish it had a little more texture so it gripped a bit better. It has a slightly smooth feel that concerns me that the phone will slide out of my hand. After shopping around, I just didn't trust other manufacturers, and Apple doesn't make a case I like for the XR. OtterBox has never disappointed me, and I will buy again in the future.

This is probably the 3rd or 4th iteration of the Commuter case that I’ve bought as I’ve needed to upgrade phones. The case itself remain consistent with the reasons I’ve used them in the past, which can be boiled down to slim design and solid drop protection (whether dropped on face or back). This said, due to the increased size and weight of the iPhone XR in comparison to my previous iPhone 7, I’ve found the usability of the phone with this case to be a little more difficult. Again, this is due to the phone, not the case itself. But the back of this case is a hard plastic, and so the grip is not that great. As such, I’ve seemed to have more drops, particularly when attempting one-handed operation (which frankly this phone does not lend itself to, even with my medium-large hands). This said, the case does what it’s advertised to do, which is protect the phone from drops. I’ve had multiple waist-high drops on the driveway, including a couple face-down, and the phone is unscathed. I have purchased a competing case to see if the grip works any better for me. Again, the issue has much more to do with the weight/balance of the phone and not the case. So, I can definitely recommend this case, but do wish it had better grip properties, which would have earned it a 5-star rating.

I had an Otterbox Symmetry for my last phone (6s Plus), and I loved it. This version is even better! Fitment is a bit tight to install, but not difficult at all. I love the black version with my all black iPhone XR. Very professional looking. I weighed both my 6s Plus and XR while the cases were installed and they both come in at exactly 8.5 ounces. The XR Symmetry is marginally thinner. I can’t imagine why anyone would be disappointed with this case. It’s thin and super protective with a good amount of grip while still being pocket friendly. Less bulky than the Commuter or Defender.

Love it I fall a lot because I have cerebral palsy I had had it all of my life I love the way it feels make it easy to hold on to the quality is great nice and strong I got my case in black plus it’s easy to clean And I work on small Engines so I get a lot of dirt and Grease and stuff on my hands and the case holds up to everything I just love it great product would 100 percent recommend people to buy best case I have ever bought

Great minimalistic case. Have dropped my phone a few times with it on by accident and case and screen still look great. Very happy.

This is my second OtterBox Symmetry. My first one started coming apart after several years of daily use, so that's why I can only give the product four stars, but it did give years of good service without being too bulky (it still fits in my shirt and suit breast pockets). I really like it because without it my phone is too slippery, and so not only has it protected the phone despite being dropped on concrete a few times, it also improved my grip so I did not drop it as many times in the first place.

Snug fitting and rugged case. looks good. Best protection from small falls.
