Just save yourself the hassle and order this one. I originally ordered the "HYDROWE" brand. My room still smells. I was looking through reviews. A guy mentioned he had bought all the brands and AC was the best. So I got one. Smell was gone in 15 minutes. And the flanges are reversible. Would absolutely recommend.

It doesnt have a reversible flange for anyone wondering. However this is my filter of choice from now on. I've tried over 10 different filters to get rid of my smell from my grow tent. My first filter was an apollo 4 in and it worked great. Then I couldnt find them anymore so i switched to an ambargelli or however you spell it. They're garbage. Let smell through quote a bit. Tried an ipower same thing. Got to the point I thought I had leaks in my ventilation system. Switched to all PVC tubing and bought another ambargelli....same damn thing. I literally tried 10 different brand filters in the 30 to 80 dollar range and all of them let smell through to the point I would come home from work and could smell it walking in the door. Seen the ac infinity and decided to give it a shot expecting the same results. Hooked it up and within a minute ALL smell was eliminated!!! I couldn't believe it. It confirmed my suspicions of filters not doing their job. This filter is well built and the main thing is it works. I've been running it for a week now and have zero smell even standing right ouside of my grow area. Now I'm just hoping they stock more as I went back to buy a backup and it's not available. Do yourself a favor and dont mess around buying any other filter. If you can find it in stock buy this one. Trust me I've been through the headaches of trying to eliminate unwanted smells and this thing finally did the job

What a gorgeous piece of kit. Impeccable quality of the stainless steel and powder coated end caps. Mounts like a charm and looks bloody good... Found myself admiring it more than once. The carbon filtering is so effective, made a massive difference. I've seen many shoddy filters but now sure know what quality looks like. Just a thought, it would be nice to include some sort of neatly designed suspension straps or clips for ceiling mount (horizontal and vertical), the thing is too beautiful for wrapping mere zip-ties around it ... Now that would be a cherry on the cake. Loved the firm box, loved the right fit of the protective foam, the booklet and sleeve were a nice touch... This brand has eye for detail in every way possible. Even the mounting screws are powdrcoated black! I rest my case.

I have 2 of these carbon filters, one is venting a grow tent (4’ x 2’) and the other is in a closet with cat litter in it.They’re both working fantastically! The one in the cat room was originally purchased to vent a grow tent with 2 very skunky plants growing in it, but my wife thought the cat room was the most offensive. It was paired up with an AC Infinity 4” fan, and there’s simply no cat smells, no ammonia or poo at all. My wife had to get about a foot or so from the litter box to notice anything at all. Simply amazing.The second one was purchased to satisfy the first requirement, and works beautifully as well. My large walk in closet used to smell like a dispensary, and no it’s gone. Just an awesome filter! I would 100% recommend these to anyone needing to eliminate some odors!One little negative part, well 2 things. The metal grating around the filter isn’t nice to grab onto, be careful handling it without the dust shroud sleeve that it comes with. The second thing was the AC Infinity 4” ducting was a little bit of a pain in the butt to put on the filter. It mated up with the fan just fine, but it’s quite snug on the filter.

I've seen a lot of reviews on here where people talk about the smell still coming out of their tents, and that the filter just isn't as strong as they expected. The same thing happened to me on the first one I ordered. Thankfully I knew it was just DOA because I have a six-inch one as well that works flawlessly.Amazon sent out a replacement, and now the smell is gone.I'm not sure if the company has a higher rate of failure eon the smaller filters or if I just had bad luck but Amazon made it right. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is I have to take the time out of my day to drop off the return at UPS. I'm not sure why'd they want to pay to ship a dead filter back to their warehouse but I'm more than happy to do it not to get charged.Anyways this is a great product, if you're getting smell out of a proper sized tent then your filter is just DOA and you should return it. Hope that helps a few folks.

I put this on a mini spray booth so I can airbrush models in the house without being yelled atby the wife. I am amazed at how good it works. There is “no” smell at all.
