Worked perfectly
The mold worked perfectly and gave a realistic bark texture. It works best if you keep the fondant thicker so you can press the mold deeper.

Great for air-dry foam clay!
Used this for a special effects costume build, actually. I needed a repeatable and lightweight solution for making bark for a large headpiece, and used foam clay in the mold. (Used straight from the tub, pressed it into the grooves, let it solidify in the freezer and then removed to air dry on a mesh surface).Very easy to remove from the mold and the mold has stayed sturdy and true after… sheesh, 20 rounds of use? A bunch. The photo attached shows strips of the pieces I made (so I didn’t have blocks of texture that didn’t overlap organically), the mold is cool because you can follow the grooves for a natural edge. These are only partially painted, so take that with a grain of salt, but it was super easy to use a watered down paint that settled into the crevices. (If you use this method just be aware the watery paint can reactivate any thin sections of foam that aren’t sealed well and it gets liquidy.)The end result is SUPER lightweight and I’m so excited to have a reusable silicone mold for practical effects. Keep up the great work guys! I’ll be following your product line for more textures I can use in future builds!

Great multi use tool
I used this for the edging on my DIY concrete countertops and it worked out really well. I was worried the concrete would stick to the silicone, but it came off pretty clean. (The concrete was semi dry when I stamped it along the edges.)
