Onboard AC unit is back in operation.
Recently I replaced an old (age unknown) March pump due to a crack in the housing. Although the old pump continued to function, preventative maintenance was the ticket of the day so I replaced it. The new pump was easy to install and is functioning perfectly.

Webasto A/C
Previous pump failed on my 16k btu Webasto A/C on my Catalina 42 sailboat. After doing some research the March pump seems to be a favorite among fellow boat owners.Install was simple and the pump runs quietly as it's just below our pullman berth.Hope to have years of service put of this pump as visually the quality seems to be very well made.

Satisfied with Purchase - got a great price!
By far, this was the least expensive replacement pump we found when ours (which is 8 years old) went bad. Apparently, this meets the specs for our old TaylorMade pump. Our marina owner even told us not to bother looking for one, as we wouldn't be able to beat his price (which was 300.00). He was shocked when we told him we only paid 231.00 :)Pump was as described and was very easy to install on our own. Works as it should!Shipped and arrived very quickly (ordered on a Sunday, had it in hand on Wednesday). Called Tesco the day after I ordered, as I was afraid it would not arrive in time (the shipping time on Amazon was much longer) and the woman was VERY pleasant and ensured me we did not need to pay for expedited shipping - and she was right! We are very pleased with this product, the company, the shippping and the customer service!

The best pumps for Marine Air Conditioning!
My arrival at purchasing this pump is probably similar to many others. I started with a shiny oil-filled pond pump marketed as a viable marine A/C circulation pump. That one that came in the boat failed soon after I bought the boat. Not thinking too much, I replaced it with the same pump. It failed after about 50 hours of use. Before purchasing another however, I did the online research and determined from many others' experience that my next A/C pump had to be a March liquid-cooled model. Liquid-cooled means the motor will stay cool and last a long time. This pump is great! The LC-3CP-MD model moves just as much water as my 1000 gph shiny pond pump did in use and it barely gets warm. I have over 24,000 btu of marine air conditioners running off of this and it provides all the water flow I need, probably more. Some people report these March liquid-cooled pumps lasting 10-20 years so I'm expecting it to be very nice solution. It was easy to install since it had almost the same fitting as I had on the old pump and it's about the same size. Amazon's seller had the best price I could find anywhere on it too!

Great pump!
I purchased this pump to run the A/C in our sailboat in the hot Florida summers while we're at the dock and it works like a champ. I had to re-plumb some of the old lines due to dry rot and not enough length and the pump has to be below the waterline, so I wouldn't say installation was completely a breeze, but that's not the pumps fault. Once all the plumbing and electrical wiring were connected, the pump has run without a hitch, providing a nice steady flow of water through our A/C system and keeping the boat at a cool 76 degrees when it's well over 90 outside. I've owned several March pumps through various boat installations and have been happy with all of them. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if we decide to put a 2nd A/C in the boat.
