AS CHEFS COOK The Sweet Date & Tamarind Chutney 200g

It can be used as our homemade Sonth. But it is a little more sweet and a little less tamarind sourness.But, it still is a good chutney.

I was really apprehensive of buying food items online. But this product did not disappoint me. It came in very good shape. As for the taste, it is good to eat with chaat varities. The mixture seems to be a bit thick. The only problem I had was the quantity. Rest all met my expectations.

A must have in all fridge who loves to have samosa/ dahi vadas / Kachori and what not. The only issue was that, for my taste bud it lacked sweetness a tad bit. So all i do when i buy a new bottle is.... i add a couple of spoons of sugar in the original mixture and boil it. And wallah... i get exactly the sweet and tangy taste I am so accustomed to. A good product. No doubt.

Very thin as compared to Sanghi's or other brand. Watery substance, cute bottle but costly.

Adds a lot of flavour to your snacks and meals.

I was expecting more of a tangier taste from this chutney. This chutney is spicy, you can taste and tamarind and date but its not that sweet or tangy. More of a liquid consistency.I guess it should mix well with some bhel or other such preparations but this cannot be used as is or with chapatis or rice.

The flavour is good and thickness is amazing
