I love these clothes props , they're just what I have been looking for, especially with the high winds we get at times they're so robust, and easy to use .

I bought this pair believing that they would be strong and sturdy. I was right re the metallic body construction but unfortunately the plastic top and the black plastic endpieces are forever falling off. This means that every time you finish using the support or start off using it you have a 3d jigsaw to complete! It has also come away from the line under windy conditions and landed on my head, an experience that I can not recommend. They come as a pair, which is really good but unfortunately they both have the same problem.

So these are fairly lightweight. Not, as the advert suggests heavy duty. I was a little disappointed. However despite this they seem to be fairly sturdy.A rubber foot on the bottom would have improved things further, but they seem to be holding up quite well. See how we go over winter

When I opened the package, the plastic hooks that hold the prop on to the line were broken off. There were absolutely no written instructions on assembly & despite many efforts I was unable to assemble & use the prop. An absolute waste of time & money. From the photo & description on-line The prop had looked sturdy & suitable for purpose. I was very wrong.

Used to have a telescopic pole and changed to this for the sturdiness and was glad I did. Great build quality and will last for years. My dad has one and he leaves his out all weathers and still no sign of wear or rust etc. Great product.

Chinese jigsaw puzzle to put together and no instructions. Also not very stable on line when windy. As far as I am concerned waste of Money.

Brilliant! They lock into place. No crappy plastic to secure the extension so they hold the full weight of the line nice and tight and at good height to catch the breeze!No need to buy again because they are built to last!

I was amused by the product description of "Extra heavy duty" suggests to me that the prop could be made of scaffolding poles capable of supporting a zip wire and because it is galvanized, that is impervious to rust . It would be fair to say the it is adequately strong for the job in hand, and the external faces of the prop will last longer than a steel pole covered in plastic. From past experience the plastic fittings on the pole eventually fail when continually exposed to strong sunlight as the UV seems to weaken them. Using plastic parts on a couple of the major stress points rather contradicts the description "heavy duty" and product durability and strength would be significantly better if these parts were made of stainless steel. However, the product does the job well enough at an acceptable price.
