Great Value for Light to Medium Projects
I picked up the Skil 5080-01 for some home improvement projects, and it’s done the job really well. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy in your hands, and the 13-amp motor has plenty of power for basic woodcutting and DIY work. The saw starts up smoothly and the adjustments for depth and bevel are pretty intuitive. I wouldn’t use it for heavy-duty contractor jobs, but for cutting plywood, 2x4s, and trim around the house, it’s perfect. The included blade is decent, but I swapped it out for a finer one for cleaner cuts. All in all, a solid choice if you want something affordable and dependable for home use.

Don’t cut corners
Love you his saw. Light weight and well made. Easy to use and adjustable for a variety of cuts. It’s a good value for the money and useful around the house. Heavy construction use, probably not. But for at home applications, worth the money. My experience circulating saw broke and I saw th oh a one on line at Amazon. I got it and glad I did. Great tool.

Good saw
Very powerful compared to my Ryobi 18v circular saw. The price is great for the power. It can flex a bit probably because it's plastic but it did a good job at ripping through pressure treated 2x12s with no issues.

Great First Circular Saw
This is my first circular saw, and I have to say, the experience has been a pleasant one. Everything from adjusting the cutting depth and angles to installing the blade was straightforward and easy to understand. The saw powers up quickly, and the cutting action is smooth and efficient. For the first time, I was able to make a clean, straight cut. I used to rely on a jigsaw for the occasional home project, but this saw has made a huge difference. The size and weight are just right, comfortable to handle and easy to control. I'm looking forward to tackling bigger projects and will gladly continue using this saw.

Great saw for around the house jobs.
I really like this saw. Light, strong, & easy to handle. Used it to rip 7ft length strips of 3/4" thk boards from 5-1/2" wide to 4-3/4" wide. Worked wonderfully.

Good saw for small projects
Good for small jobs and home use. Probably would want something different for contractor grade work and everyday use. But works for small jobs and what I need it for. A few cuts a year, then back on the shelf haha.
