Gelish PolyGel Professional Nail Technician All-in-One Enhancement Trial Kit (Black)

Sadly nails separating from nail bed. Gelish not confronting this issue other than the “new process”, which means no pro bond, using base only, cure 5 sec, then dry brush before applying polygel. People on Facebook asking about their clients nail beds & these direct questions were ignored. Irresponsible. I loved the way the product went on, although I did have a few pop offs no matter how diligent I was with the prep. The nail bed separating was the last straw. This is unhealthy & dangerous. Danny Haile, please fix the problem with the nail beds!

Pricey... but I love the product. Just wish that ordering another tube of polygel didn’t cost so much. The trial kit is a great buy because it’s more bang for your buck. But a single tube of just the polygel alone is close to trial kit price. So just consider that when ordering, or find somewhere else to buy. Because it’s not necessary to buy slip solution in my opinion, isopropyl works great too! This kit is a good starter tho.

I actually love the stuff. It makes me feel like a nail technician. I can get in a whole bunch of sets for the price that I would pay at the salon for two visits .It’s very easy to work with. I gave it four stars and not five stars because when I use it with nail formers sometimes the poly gel will just crack off past my natural nails. My natural nails grow pretty fast so I just grew them out with the poly gel and do overlays. I get a really natural looking, long almond shape.

The clear poly gel wasn’t clear. It’s really cloudy. The slip solution doesn’t really keep the brush clean and the hairs on the brush kept coming out and getting stuck in the product. The entire kit is actually really hard to use. It takes hours to apply and then comes off within hours as well. I recommend keeping a drugstore press on glue on you because these will constantly be falling off. The end result is cute but for the effort and money you’re better to buy much cheaper press ons.

I am not a pro. I just do my own nails. I love this product. You just have to have the patience to file to the right shape. The results are amazing. Even with clear nail polish, it looks like real nails.I use plastic nail forms to apply it. I use the nail forms to do refills too.
