**Q: Can this tape be used on a water heater flue/vent?**
A: I used it on my gas dryer vent and it has held perfectly for three months now. I believe my use is very similar to what you want to use it for.

A: You can use this aluminium tape it works great. I used it to insulate bubble insulation

**Q: Can this tape be used on the heat exhaust pipe for a gas hot water heater?**
A: I believe so. I used it the exhaust for my gas clothes dryer. This is very similar to the pipe you are asking about. I used the tape almost three months ago and so far it has held perfectly. Great product.

**Q: Is it safe to use as a high temp tape for wrapping the heatit heat cable?**
A: Normally we wrap HEATIT aluminum foil tape around the pipe for a better heat transfer.  As we know the aluminum tape is conductive. I think you can use the Heatit aluminum foil tape as high temp tape for wrapping HEATIT JHSD, JHSF, JHSF1, JHSF1-CT. For these cables they owned the out jacket as the insulation.

Very sticky and conforms to odd shapes well. Not cheap or plasticky. Tears by hand easily when cutting length. Hard to get backing peeled off as its not split. Good stuff.
