I'm so glad I found this product. There was nothing wrong with my old ladder, except that the flippers were worn out and it was difficult to extend/collapse. With these new flippers, my old ladder found new life!

Flippers fit fine, only problem I had was the bolts they sent needed to have been a 1/8” longer. If u tightened the shorter bolts up enough to get lock nut up on the bolt then it wouldn’t let the flipper work freely. Easy fix with a longer bolt!

So I'm very handy and I think for the average person, this is a bit too much work. One of my flippers was indented and not functioning correctly. It was riveted on so I had to grind down one side of the rivet to remove it. Also, they use a threaded bolt with a nut. If you overtighten it, the flipper won't flip so well, while under-tightening it would be no bueno. It doesn't want to flip as easily as the original that had a smooth shaft since this one is threaded. It works for now but I'm afraid I'll have to keep checking the nut when I go to use the ladder because I'm afraid it will loosen.
