The media could not be loaded.  At fist i was hesitant to get an electric fireplace, didn’t want something to look cheap. This fireplace exceeded my expectations, it looks soo chic and beautiful. Installation was very easy .And the customer service was superior!! Was contacted directly from owner to confirm my order and contact information, he personally was on top of the tracking for this to be delivered via freight.Very pleasedWill buy from this seller again !!

We did a lot of research before deciding the Dimplex Ignite had a superior flame appearance to all the other brands. Since this is in our living room (and our house is relatively small), we wanted it to be visually exceptional.....and it is!! The heat output is adequate. It keeps our living area warm which was our goal. Just don't expect the kind of radiant heat you'd get from a wood/gas fireplace! The boost setting does improve how quickly the area warms up. We hired a contractor to build the structure to insert the fireplace into (and had it hardwired-highly recommend). It was an easy install for him, but we would have struggled with it! While the Dimplex was more than we had originally planned to spend, it was money well spent!!! We love it!

I really want to give a higher rating to this fireplace. It looks great and function well after I fix the problem.Here is what happens in my fireplace, I followed the assembly instructions and carefully finish the installation around two hours. Wanted to check the heating and the beautiful flaming effect. Heat worked well but there is only gloomy flame on top of the plastic crystals on the bay. I though I might not connect the wire firmly so disassembled it to check wire connection again. Unfortunately, there is still no vivid flame dancing as it shall be. I revisited Dimplex web site to check the troubleshooting guide. I can’t find a valuable information from it. Suddenly, I figured most likely this was connecting issue so I disassembled the Two front glasses, removed all the plastic crystals again and the few pieces of the metal panels that with the flame features on them.As my assumption, the flame board did not connect with the main board( it did not connect at all Instead of a loose connection). This is completely unacceptable, it is a more than $2,000 product with Heater. Is there any quality control in this product? How would I know if there is any other potential quality issue in this product ?No, I will not recommend this product to others.

Shipment came as promised, product was in perfect condition, install was easy, love the the fireplace, looks great performs better than expected. I flush mounted it after a big split stone install on the entertainment center and wall. The only complaint is the screws that are used for mounting are crap and strip easy. I used drywall screws which were way better. Very happy!

Does the previous user who mounted their fireplace or anyone else who mounted theirs in a similar style to this have the plans /guides/measurements on how to do this?

We transitioned from a gas fireplace to this electric fireplace. We LOVE it! Our friends have the same brand in a bit larger size and theirs is great as well. Heat output is perfect and if you just want ambiance an no hear, that is an option too. It's perfect and actually puts out more heat that our prior gas fireplace.

Loved the whole package, price was better than our local fireplace store.
