Japanese Quality!
I just finished using this trimmer for the first time and I couldn't wait to get back to Amazon and write about how impressed I am. It's something I wish I had bought years ago. Essentially, after a few months of self-neglect, I just had way more hair down there and under my arms than I wanted to try to deal with with a razor. It would have taken me at least an hour to get at it with scissors first and then to get in the shower and shave... definitely would have run out of hot water before I finished. So I came to Amazon to look for a trimmer. The reviews for all of them are so mixed, you never know what to trust, but this one won me over. I didn't know this was made in Japan until I got it (even though Panasonic is a Japanese company, you never know if the product was made in-country or not), but now that I do know, that explains how awesome it is. In Japan, they don't have a culture of returning items. When you buy something, the expectation is that it will work. If it stops working, you'll get it fixed and then it will continue working and you'll probably die before it does. To that end, I am so happy that this trimmer not only does what it's supposed to, but it does it well AND replacement blades are available when/if I need a new one. I read a lot of reviews where I think people were expecting this to shave completely smooth. It's not going to do that. It's just a trimmer, like hair clippers. If you want to shave your head, you use the clippers first and then shave it completely smooth. Otherwise, you just have a buzz cut. That is what this is like. If you want baby's bottom smooth, you need to shave after you trim. That being said, it trims pretty dang close. I may or may not shave after because 'barely there' is usually good enough. I didn't bother with using the attachment since I wanted as close a cut as possible, and even with all of the hair I needed to manage, there was no pain, no catching, no pre-trimming with scissors required. It took me about 10 minutes to do both arm pits and the entirety of my lady parts. After I finished, I used the brush that's included to brush hair off of the trimmer, then I popped out the blade and brushed the hair out of the inside. Then I took a Clorox Wipe and just cleaned it up completely (although, that part is not necessary - it just makes me feel better to do that). I just keep thinking about how much time this saved me and I'm so happy. It didn't get hot either. I can't imagine what you'd need to shave for it to take long enough for it to get hot because I most likely had an 'infomercial-level of ridiculous' amount of hair to trim and it didn't warm up at all. The only complaint I have is that I wish there were a wrist strap because I was kinda worried that I might drop it into the toilet. Also, it has about the same sound as clippers used in a barber shop, so, plan for something of that volume. Overall, I highly, highly recommend it!

you won't be disappointed!
Was exactly what I wanted. And at a great price too! I was looking to get something to give a pretty close trim without actually shaving and this does a perfect job! It leaves a few mm of hair which is great if you don't want ingrown hairs. It comes with a attachable guide but I never use it. This day in age nude is in lol. But it's nice that it's one adjustable thing rather than a whole bunch of peices. I also like that it's cordless and requires batteries. Just because i saw on other products I looked at that the rechargeable battery it came with died in a year or so. Also I liked that you have the option to order a new trimmer head if needed. This trimmer isn't the prettiest or ergonomic thing in the world but it's gets the job done. And it's not like you have to impress anyone while trimming your pubes since you're alone lol. Also this is a dry trimmer only!! Which was totally fine by me because I only trim when it's dry. Easiest way I found is sit on a toilet and lean slightly over and trim WITH the hair. It will snag if you go against the hair and that's not fun. Also if you're wanting to trim in the "delacate" areas take your time and be very careful. I did cut myself a few times but it was my fault not the trimmer. It really wasn't all that painful just a little pinch and a trickle of blood. Certainly not even close to as painful as razor burn and I healed very quickly from it. Isn't as bad as people are acting like it to be. I just ended up using a regular razor for that area. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about that but what do you expect? Your putting something meant for cutting coarse hair on the most delacate area on the body and the loosest thinnest skin... It's kind of common sense people. If you really really want to use it for that area make sure to pull the skin taught and use baby powder so it can glide easily. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I love the quality and simplicity of it. And it Doesn't take a lot of space in my drawer which is a huge plus! I also loved that it didn't come with a bunch of gimmicky things that I wouldn't use. From what I'm seeing also this product has been around for a loooooong time and hasn't changed at all which obviously means it's a great well made product.

Easy to use trimmer with fun results.
Ahem, I hope no one will be embarrassed with maybe TMI of how I describe itโs use. Iโll be very frank. Honestly, I bought this for better sex. My friend, Ms. Puss used to get close shaves but now likes to have a buzz cut on her V. Less irritation or ingrown hairs. I always use the guard on her on the shortest setting. She feels sexier, cleaner and is more sensitive during playtime. Paired the buzz cut with open crotch panties and an open cup bra, everything felt โ breezy cool,โ felt and looked sexy, esp. since we were in serious baby making mode! It helped bec. now weโre expecting! Now, Iโm huge, I can still use it, but itโs easier to have help. Make sure you oil it each time. Since, Iโm so big, my husband does it for me. As it turned out, he loves doing it and wants to add that to his list of โchoresโ after the baby is born. Itโs now his โtoyโ and he loves making /cutting patterns. Big as I am, tired, backaches, stretch marks and all, using this thing and the underwear I still feel really sexy. It wonโt give a smooth clean shave. The blades pinch in the in the vulva area. There are probably better electric shavers if you want to be entirely bald, but this isnโt it. The blade has corners and can nick.. There arenโt many electric razors with guards so I bought this one. It supposed to be waterproof but it isnโt. If you drop it, the whole thing falls apart, batteries included, so I recommend putting a rubber band around it. Itโs small, and can easily slip from your hand when itโs wet or using shaving cream. The first time I used it was over the toilet and I dropped it. Everything was soaked and I had to dry it out and clean it. It really needs some kind of gasket. Great results and fun to use. ADD ON REVIEW: this quit working after 10 uses. It is supposed to be waterproof, but it is not. It worked pretty well, but after each use I had to take the whole thing apart, dry it thoroughly, then put it away. Itโs a lot of trouble, and it has stopped working. I wouldnโt recommend buying one.

Sensitive skin friendly, life changing, and time saving!
So I'm old school and have been trimming the hedges with scissors for years, afraid to try a clipper due to extreme sensitive skin (I once tried an all natural soap downstairs and was immediately set on fire... ended up in Urgent Care and on steroids). However, I'm older, wider, and quite frankly, tired of trying to contort my body and risking nicks to my sensitive bits. So after some searching and reading reviews, I decide to risk it all and purchase this little number. Ladies (and gents), WHY DID I WAIT THIS LONG?! WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY ADULT LIFE?! In a few short minutes, my landscape was beautifully and evenly manicured with no skin sensitivities, no reactions, no cuts, no sprained back, no struggle... just ZIP, done. Commence angelic singing and sun beams and all that good stuff. Thank you, kind people of Panasonic; you just made my life easier, saved my back from needing physical therapy, and are saving me time and energy, all while looking good down there. If you're on the fence about ordering this, don't hesitate- it's well worth it and your undercarriage will thank you in the end!

No Shave November...?
I involuntarily participated in No Shave November...and December...and January. I mean, itโs winter, right?! In any case, as much as I donโt mind hair, I said to myself, itโd be nice to see her again. So, I took to Amazon to begin my search of a handy-dandy trimmer, because, letโs face it, NO razor would be getting through this and waxing would basically be an attempt at suicide. I digress. I FREAKING LOVE THIS THING. Seriously...it couldnโt be easier to use. There are 3 pieces. It came in a box. You will need to supply your own AA batteries (2 of em), and thatโs it. The guard is good if you want to use it, but it wasnโt scary using it without the guard either. The cleaning brush works well. All in all, this was affordable, easy to use, does the job and does it well. Iโm assuming that at the price point, this isnโt going to last a lifetime, but thatโs ok! Iโll be buying this bushwhacker for years to come.

Not as good as I expected....
I purchased this product based on the good reviews and I was rather disappointed. It did get the job done, sort of. Pros: The size is good and is easy to maneuver. Being battery-operated was nice, I didn't have to worry about the cord getting in the way. Cons: The plastic guard on it is very odd, it slides up and down for different lengths and it doesn't "pick up" the hairs to be trimmed. So most of the hair is still laying flat and doesn't get cut. It took MANY passes over the same areas and pulling the skin very taut, sometimes holding hairs straight up to get them to go through the guard, to get a half-way decent trim. It was still very uneven though. Overall, this would be ok for touching up, but I won't be using it when I need to get the full "haircut". If the guards were the normal ones that snap on and off like hair clippers, this would be perfect. (Also, do NOT use this without the guard, it will pull hairs and nick skin. Which, in my personal opinion, takes away from being a bikini trimmer. It should trim and shave.)

Simple, well-functioning, comfortable
It's been a relief to have something just for me instead of using hand me down beard trimmers, so maybe my bar wasn't super high to begin with, but I've been loving this trimmer since day one, over a year and a half ago. It's been so great to use; comfortable to hold and it's never hurt, pulled, or cut too close (though I always use the guard, but at the lowest setting). I'm actually super impressed with how little battery it seems to use; I put in batteries when I first got it, and though I don't use it every day, I haven't had to change them yet! I saw some other reviews about not being able to use it in the shower, and it seems that only the head of it is supposed to be waterproof, and so I never expected to use it in water. I trim, then shower, so it'll last longer by not getting wet and rusty/gunky. And it doesn't take up much space in my tiny bathroom, nor does it have a pile of attachments to clutter things up, so I appreciate the minimalist value of it as well. I'm super happy with this thing. I'd buy it again, but happy I won't need to!

Great product!
This works really well. It trims hair quickly and easily. And it is so easy to clean! I have had bikini trimmers in the past that constantly "jam" up because the shaving head snaps onto a sort of bar that vibrates and something just gets stuck even with oil added. I wanted to try this because of the different design hopefully avoiding that problem. And it does!

it's ok
It's a bit scratchy and is a bit bulkier and heavier than others. The comb attachment leaves hair very long so is pretty useless

I've had it for 10 months and its still in great condition!
Bought this 10 months ago and I use it weekly. Still works great and everything is intact. If you want yours to last a long time as well, remember to remove the batteries after each use and dont use it in the shower! Also remove any hairs that might get stuck cos it will accumulate if you dont remove it! I used to use it with the guard but now i'm confident enough to use it without and it does a pretty decent job.
