They are always on during the daytime and have yet to fail. I took them out to inspect them and they aren't burnt out, and look brand new. I highly recommend!] Awesome lights. Make sure you only use them when there's no other traffic around as they're twice as bright to look at as the stock HEADLIGHTS! these guys really light up the road and sides of the road. I installed them on my 14 Gmc Sierra and the beam pattern is very nice and clean. They go high and wide. Installation was easy but at the same time was a pain to no fault of the headlight manufacturer. When removing the old ones you have to squeeze the clips and pull hard straight out. Needle nose pliers or a strong hand would be a good help. But I managed to do it myself by hand easily. I did both sides in under 30 minutes taking my time. They really do a great job of filling the "dead space" before your headlight. In the photo I had no other lights on except the fog lights. I highly recommend these lights.
