For the price, it's a great value.
I purchased this for my mother ... she was looking at these but mentioned that she was not sure if she'd like it, so she did not want me to buy anything expensive and she would upgrade if the concept worked. I had looked at the yellow Blow Dry Bar version of this in a store ... which retailed at around $100 - $200. That version, despite the cost, was only a smaller brush OR a larger brush. This came with two brush sizes. I was very skeptical about the quality due to the low price. That proved to be unfounded as my mother said that she really, really liked this one and there was no need to upgrade to a more expensive brand. One thing she really mentioned liking is that the chord swivels/rotates as the unit is being used so the chord doesn't get tangled up as you turn the appliance during use. It's lightweight and easily maneuverable and the different brushes are easy to attach and take off. She mentioned it is so much easier to use this than the traditional method of holding the blow drier in one hand and a brush in the other. The hot setting is very hot/too hot ... so the low setting is all she uses, with a quick blast of cool air at the end. She has medium/short hair above her shoulders and fine hair, not thick, so this works well for her. She doesn't do any curling or waving and keeps her hair straight. The big brush is good for body, near the roots. The smaller brush is more for the under part of your hair. It is nice to have both brushes to use ... many more expensive kits only have one brush attachment. This also comes with a blow drier attachment. While it's not as powerful in terms of dispersing air as a regular blow drier, it does a good job of drying hair without having to use a brush. Don't expect to go from fully wet to fully dry in a minute or two, but it will give you a little bit more shape and body, especially on fine hair. Overall, for under twenty bucks, this thing is amazing. She had fully intended to upgrade to a Dyson after but will keep this unit. It's a little lightweight and flimsy ... but it works as it should. The value and performance is fantastic and it is highly recommended.

Revlon, my hair thanks you for this - Mwah! XOX!
I think it depends upon the type and length of your hair whether and how much you like it. My hair is pretty long and super baby fine, with a bit of loose natural wave. I don't need anything else but this to dry and style in a ton of volume, no frizzy ends and a little curl too, if I want. This is my personal routine; Starting with wet hair, first I use the concentrator to blow it mostly dry. Then I switch the attachment to one of the curling barrels (easy to do but be careful, it gets hot). I turn the blower on high setting for 10 seconds or so to pre-heat the metal barrel, shut it off, roll my hair around the barrel just like you would a curling iron. (Instruction manual says not to roll the hair around it more than once, but I roll mine around several times. It is long and it has never gotten tangled nor overheated or damaged on either size barrels). After the hair is rolled up on the barrel, I turn the blower on high or medium heat for a few seconds, until it feels dry to the touch at the thickest part. Then BEFORE unrolling the hair, I switch to the no heat/cool setting for a few more seconds, until the hair is dried and no longer feels hot to the touch. This sets the wave or curl so that it stays that shape. The extra step of cooling hair down before unrolling makes all the difference in how well this device works on my hair. I have no problem operating the blower setting switch with one hand, which is a big plus in my eyes. Yes, I could see how this might not be the perfect styling implement for someone with a ton of really thick hair that takes a long time to dry, but I was happily surprised at how well and fast it works on my baby fine locks. I was also surprised at how much less flyaway or frizzy ends I have when I use it. Revlon claims that it shines your hair and it actually does. I REALLY like it. I bought it cheap as a Amazon warehouse special deal AND just on a whim, but now I'd purposely buy it again at the regular price in a hot minute. Yes, REALLY!

Doesn't Really Curl As Much As Add Lift
I have the bigger Revlon Dryer Brush 2.0 and that dries my long thick wavy hair, but since I have it cut in layers to tame it, I needed the smaller 1" barrel of this styling brush to finish off the top layers. You have to be careful with this, it's fragile feeling and not made to dry thick long hair. I think this would work well with short and medium lengths, and just go slow and careful with it, and don't try to dry soaking wet hair with it. Even tho I have wavy hair that loves to curl, I thought this 1" barrel would add curl but I'm a little disappointed. It definitely adds LIFT, which I needed on top, when you apply the brush to the roots and dry there. And the barrels get hot enough to curl the hair, so I thought I could hold a curl in place for a moment, but I noticed that if I hold the barrel long enough to get what I would get from a curling iron, like maybe 3-4 seconds, I'm really just over-drying my poor hair. And if I use it as a curl-inducer with wet hair, I have to be really careful not to pull too hard on this brush because it does seem a bit fragile. (I've read the complaints here about the barrels breaking off and I can see that happening if not using this tool carefully.) BTW, I did just get this travel case as I searched Amazon for this Revlon dryer, and it holds the bigger Revlon 2.0 Brush PLUS this Styling Brush plus the two barrel attachments. Plus clips and comb in a top compartment. Finally can take brushes when traveling and not smash them. Thought I'd pass along this great find! (You'll probably see this case come up when you search Revlon hair drying products.)

Overall Unpleasant To Use
Used once and immediately returned. I have thick but fine strand hair, long past my shoulders down my back. I have used a dryer brush like this before from Babyliss that was amazing, but settled for this because I couldn't find the model I wanted. Before use, my hair was about 80-90% air dried. I felt that there was difficulty in getting the hair to stay on the brush and difficulty with getting the brush through the hair when trying to create a curl. When using the high setting, the airflow was too high and blowing the hair off the brush. Without being able to cling to the brush, I couldn't achieve the curl I wanted without putting my hand over. A curl I could easily achieve with the Babyliss dryer brush I used previously. If I tried the lower setting, I could get the hair to stay on the brush, but once I started trying to wrap the hair to create the curl, I couldn't get the brush through the hair. Again, something that was much easier when I was using the Babyliss dryer. If ALL YOU WANT is to simply dry your hair, then I suppose this tool is fine. But I like to fluff and give lots of volume and shape to my bangs and face framing which this product did not do. Overall unpleasant to use. I ended up resorting back to my blowdryer and styling brush to fix it.

Love this styler! Definitely worth it for me.
My sister-in-law has this styler at her place and I love it so much that I had to get one. I will say that this styler holds my curls/waves better than a Dyson does and if you don't want to spend the hefty tag and don't care for name brands, I'd recommend giving this a try. My hair type is fine (1a/1b) and doesn't take long to dry. It has 3 settings (cool, low and high) so the heat is your choice, I mainly use the low setting and it works well. It does tend to get a little hot when I'm drying my bangs but it's okay because it's just for a little.

Doesn't work as well on MY hair type, but still a good product
This helped my hair to be straight in my 30s but now im in my 40s my hair decided to change texture and be wavy. When use this, my hair just ends up frizzy. Its not fault of the product, just may hair has changed and no longer can tolerate the straightening with blow drying with bristles. Before my hair changed I had this same set and it worked so good. The design is good - easy to hold, change settings, and change attachments. Im sad it no longer has that effect, but I still think its a good product for the right hair texture.

So so good, I gifted to daughter and SIL for Christmas!
I have very thick, wavy hair. I’ve also had my fair share of hair dryers over the years, as well as a vast experience of professional blowouts. In my early teenage years my hair became uncontrollable, so my mom sent me to the salon for a weekly blowout. I got tired those blowouts, so my mom got me a professional blower and brushes, and I learned to fix my hair just as good as the salon lady; heck, even my sisters and cousins would ask me to do theirs all the time. Later on, for work, I resumed the weekly salon visits for years, but always owned high end hairdryers and full sets of brushes, for the times I needed to do my own. Fast forward a few more years, and I started doing sports every day, so the salon visits became unsustainable, which left me with no saner choice than leaving my hair to air dry. I didn’t look bad, but I didn’t look like “myself” anymore. Around last November, my Mom gave me her Revlon (this product). She got it as a gift, but never really used it. It felt so light, compared to the previous blow driers I’ve had, that I dismissed it for weeks thinking it was crap, until one day I decided to try it. Man, THIS was a gift from the angels!!! My hair is very long, and I could give away half of my hair and still have lots of it. I could do my hair in record time, no sore arms, beautiful curled ends, and so shiny and breezy! My daughter had bought another tool similar to this, and I told her she had to try mine; boy, she loved it to: she did her hair faster, with no cord tangles, and her brush weighed about twice as this Revlon, so I promised to get her one for Christmas. She just returned the cement one she had previously bought :) Then, my SIL was wanting a flat iron for Christmas. So I got her the flat iron AND the Revlon! This tool is just too good to not share about it. For reference, I’ve owned top of the line BabyBliss, Turbo Pro and Bio Ionic throughout the years; I’ve also used the Dyson. These are all great, but I love my 15 bucks Revlon better!

my favorite tools for achieving a smooth
As you can see, my hair looks so frizzy, but after using the Revlon 1200W Perfect Style Hot Air Kit, it gave my hair instant smoothness and a much more polished look. The best part is how quickly it helps tame flyaways and reduce frizz while adding volume and shine at the same time. My hair feels softer, looks healthier, and has that salon-styled finish without spending a lot of time getting ready. It's become one of my favorite tools for achieving a smooth, bouncy hairstyle with minimal effort.
