I recently picked up this flexible duct hose for my makeshift air conditioning in the garage, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. It's 8 inches wide, which is just right for what I needed. The whole thing stretches out to six meters, and it gives me enough length to reach the window without any awkward bends. I was a bit concerned about how flexible it would actually be, but it really bends and twists without any hassle. I've used it for both heat and cooling, so it’s nice to have something that works in different seasons without needing to change anything out. I did a little trial run last week when the temps shot up, and it handled the airflow like a champ. Didn't even feel any warm spots near the connections, which I was worried about. Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight it is. It was easy to install without any extra help, which is a huge plus when you're trying to wrangle things alone. Honestly, for the price, this was a simply solid choice. If you’re like me and need a reliable ventilation solution without breaking the bank, I'd say give this a shot. It’s been great so far and has definitely made my garage way more enjoyable.

I never thought I'd actually be writing a review for a piece of hose, but I decided to make an exception for this. I recently bought an air conditioner in prep for summer. The duct hose it was supplied with is made of the traditional off-white rigid PVC pipe. Those are fine and do the job, but if you're using aircon in a place where light can be disruptive (e.g. a bedroom), they're a bad choice because they allow light to permeate along their length. Additionally, they're usually not insulated, which means a lot of the heat being exhausted is going to escape back into the room before it even gets to the end of the hose. That reduces the effectiveness of the air conditioner and results in more power usage. I bought this hose to solve both those problems, and it does it very well. I can still feel a little bit of heat on the hose when the air con is operating (currently only testing it rather than running it for serious usage, due to it being winter), but it's significantly reduced over the regular hose. Also, the insulation on the inside and the choice to use a black outer layer means that light doesn't transfer along it like the stock hose.

I was hoping it would be ok for my deisel heater but it wasn’t too good! It would be fine for a washer dryer!

The inner lining tears easily and difficult to connect with a 100mm outlet. It is good value though and will do the job fine. I used this to expand a PIV unit and service another room. self adhesive foil tape came to the rescue to seal the connection and fix a tear.

Just what I needed to finish some ventilation in the loft. Good quality and easy to work with.

Ho acquistato questo tubo flessibile STERR da 125 mm per l’impianto di ventilazione del bagno e si è rivelato perfetto per lo scopo. Il tubo arriva arrotolato e compresso, ma si estende facilmente fino ai 6 metri indicati. L’alluminio è abbastanza robusto, ma resta comunque flessibile al punto giusto per adattarsi a curve e spazi ristretti. Il diametro da 125 mm è compatibile con la maggior parte degli aspiratori domestici, ed è facile da tagliare alla lunghezza desiderata. Inoltre, non si sfilaccia e mantiene bene la forma una volta installato. Buona resistenza anche al calore e all’umidità: lo sto usando da diverse settimane e non mostra segni di deterioramento. Ideale non solo per bagni, ma anche per cappe da cucina, condizionatori o impianti di aerazione. In sintesi: prodotto solido, facile da installare, flessibile e conforme alle misure indicate. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lo consiglio per lavori domestici fai-da-te o impianti di ventilazione leggeri.

Questo tubo è ottimo anche per tagli fare curve senza troppi problemi.. il tubo è costituito da una parte flessibile e un anima di ferro che avvolge il tubo. Ottimo per lavori di aereazione come nel mio caso usato per convogliare l'aria in entrata per la pompa di calore

Der Schlauch macht genau das, was er soll – und zwar ziemlich zuverlässig. Verarbeitung wirkt durchweg stabil, nichts franzt aus, nichts reißt, lässt sich gut verlegen und bleibt da, wo er soll. Der Durchmesser (150 mm) passt auf Anhieb – kein Herumgewürge oder Improvisieren nötig, so wie man das sonst manchmal kennt. Was mir aber nicht ganz aus dem Kopf geht: die Sache mit der Länge. Angegeben sind 10 Meter, aber mein Bauchi Bauchi sagt mir, da fehlt eventuell ein kleines Stück. Ich hab’s nicht nachgemessen, muss ich ehrlich zugeben, aber voll ausgezogen wirkte er ein wenig kürzer, als man bei 10 Metern vielleicht erwarten würde. Kann natürlich auch einfach täuschen – oder daran liegen, dass sich das Ding nicht komplett auf Spannung ausrollt. Unterm Strich bin ich aber zufrieden. Der Schlauch erfüllt seinen Zweck, macht einen langlebigen Eindruck, und das Ganze zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Beim nächsten Mal pack ich vielleicht mal das Maßband aus – rein aus Prinzip. Aber qualitativ gibt’s wirklich nichts zu meckern.
