Just what I needed to finish some ventilation in the loft. Good quality and easy to work with.

Worked well for our aircon outlet pipe. Robust, good quality.

I bought this to replace the old uninsulated ducting that runs from the bathroom fan through the attic and out to the vent. The main reason was condensation in winter and this has definitely solved the issue. The duct feels well made and the insulation is a good thickness, 25mm, without being overly bulky. It was flexible enough to route through the attic space and around a couple of awkward angles without kinking. Once fitted it also noticeably reduced the amount of noise from the fan compared to the bare foil duct that was there before. Cutting it to length was straightforward and it fitted properly onto the fan outlet and roof vent using standard clamps and tape. Since installing it, there has been far less moisture buildup in the attic after showers which was the main goal. The only downside is that it takes a bit more care to install neatly because of the insulation layer and it is slightly tighter to work with in very cramped spaces, however this is really not a fault with the product. Overall it does exactly what I needed it to do and feels like a solid upgrade over basic ducting. I would happily use it again for a similar job. I used this to replace the flimsy hose on my aircon unit that got really hot and reduced the efficient of the unit. This works well and has the advantage of blocking out the light from coming down the hose as well.

This is a good product but the internal tube is not very robust and needs to be handled carefully. Once I realised that you could slide back the outer cover and the insulation to facilitate fixing the inner tube to a spigot before moving the outer layers back to cover the whole inside it proved easy to use.
