One morning woke up to find it dead and AC was running nonstop at 62 degrees and falling. This looked like a good choice for replacement and so far, has been. Uses 3 x AA batteries (unless you have a newer system with a 'C' wire, then needs no batteries). Easy to wire, setup and program. Easy to read when backlit. My only gripe is I do not like the clip-in wire connections, would much rather have screw terminals.
