(Assume the unit doesn’t rotate to accommodate either inlet- correct?** A: No ground prong. Only the 2 prongs and it does rotate around. **Q: I’d like to know how the back looks like. Is this a full teapot or does it just have the front half?** A: It just has the half front. It is as though a teapot was literally sliced in half. Initially I was disappointed by the half teapot design because that one I'd previously owned, which broke, had been a full teapot. But, here is the beauty: This thing only needs like a 7 watt bulb, but because of its half teapot design and the luminosity factor of the porcelain itself, it gives off way more LIGHT, to my eyes, than a 7 watt should. To me, this little night light lights the room so well that it is all I need. I use mine in the bathroom and I don't even have to turn on the regular light at night when I use the restroom, because this little night light is glowingly warm, sweetly inviting and GENUINELY produces a lot of light. **Q: Does it have a sensor (does it go off when enough light is available to not need it?)?** A: No, it doesn't, you have to turn it off manually **Q: Where is the ground hole located; top, bottom, left, or right?** A: There isn't a ground hole, just a two prong plug. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nightlight is beautiful but bigger than life *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2018* Bought this item as a gift for a friend who mentioned she didn't like coming home to a dark house. She collects teapots and Irish things so I thought this was perfect. A teapot nightlight with green design. It came in two days which was fabulous because I needed it for day 3. Only issue was it was much larger than I expected. She liked it. I wish I had taken it out of the box and plugged it in to see how it looked but it wasn't for me so I left it alone for her to remove. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty and bright *by H***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2011* looks real nice in daughters room. get real bright but that is just right for her. has a little switch to turn on. all and all it was as expected. a good buy ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Broken *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2018* It's cute. Very cheaply made packaging. Mine arrived broken. It's a gift so I will attempt to glue it. Disappointed. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/82940072-green-pastures-wholesale-ivy-teapot-porcelain-night-light-6-inch](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/82940072-green-pastures-wholesale-ivy-teapot-porcelain-night-light-6-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
