I read some reviews that said it was junk because it broke right away, well mine has been caught in woven and barbed wire several times, bad enough to almost knock me down, just untangle and start again. I found out right away to keep the fence to your left when trimming, my trimmer has a handlebar and a strap, if it tangles in some wire or hits a post it will push the trimmer to the right and away from you, if you have what your trimming on your right it shoves the trimmer to the left across your body and the left handlebar into your cheas. This has nothing to do with a product review but make sure you know what your cutting. I started itching, got a plant recognition app on my phone and along with some harmless weeds I was trimming Poison Oak, NOT FUN!!!! The head cuts threw tall grass, overgrowth, and general brush with relative ease. The issue that I've run into is that as you're cutting overgrowth, you may not know if there is a rock or some sort of debris beneath the grass. If the chain hits are very hard object (rock/metal), it's going to break -- which mine did. I ended up getting 2 days worth of cutting out of this head before the chain broke down so short that it no longer cuts effectively.
