Worth every penny. Sound fantastic!
I researched a lot of BT stand speakers and for the money I could not find better quality speakers than these. I have never owned a Rockville product before and decided to take a chance on these. I'm glad I did. Most reviews on these say that the bass is overpowered and that is true however that problem is easily rectified as there is subwoofer + and - buttons right on the remote. They can go to + or - 8. I have mine set at -6 and that is perfect for me. I will say that the built in eq settings are useless. With the eq on, all the settings just seem to muffle the sound for me. I keep the EQ off and am very happy with the sound. Other than those 2 very minor things which the settings let me tailor to my liking anyway I can only say great things about these speakers. First and foremost THEY ROCK! Volume goes up to 30 and at 25 the entire house shakes. The bass is incredible and the mids and highs are crisp and clean. My children who all enjoy loud music themselves keep telling me to turn these down. Nope! Daddy's got a new toy. The remote is very simple and well thought out. The FM feature works well however probably not a feature that I will use much. They come with a 10' heavy duty cable that connects them so they can be at most that far apart. If you are using them with BT that is really the only cable you will need other that plugging it in. You have the ability to connect it to a tv if you like as it has an optical output and rca outputs. I purchased the cherry finish and it actually looks and feels like real wood even though it's a good quality particle board of some sort I'm sure. These things do not look or feel cheap at all. They are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Chrome trim around each speaker is a nice touch. If you happen to lose the remote you can still control most every feature from the front panel of the left speaker. There is also a mic input and echo controls if you want to use these for karaoke. The only question that I have on these speakers is durability. Will they stand the test of time. I will update in the future. All in all these things are worth every penny at $250. Very happy with my purchase.

Works great
Better than a soundbar and NO LATENCY problem. That's big. The only criticism is the remote seems to go to sleep and it takes some "nudging" to wake it up. Great bass is what sets it apart from a good sound bar, and it's variable, you set the bass and treble how you want it.

Good value
Good product. Decent packing. There were a few scratches at the bottom but it stays on the floor anyways. Pretty large speakers. I chose the rich reddish brown finish that goes well with our living room decor. Nice base, however not exceptional. The base is not from a dedicated sub that can be separately controlled. In this system base depends on the inbuilt cross over options and is intended to give a balanced sound output. The mids are nice. The Bluetooth receiver that is built in works from quite a distance without producing distortion with is really good. The FM works nicely. haven't yet tested the USB. NB: the USB takes over if you plug it in. For example if you are using your phone to play music and you plug it into the USB port for charging the system will default to USB and will not allow you to play Bluetooth. From the price point a very decent system for producing balanced sounds. If you are looking to add base then I will recommend a separate dedicated sub. Why did I remove one star? As an afterthought I would probably gone in for a 2.2 with slightly smaller sub built in and would have purchased a separate sub.

Fantastic Sound System
Very good sound system. Excellent customer service. Very attractive finish woodwork. I love all the input options, especially the optical. It has adjustable Subwoofer settings from the remote which make it easy to get the proper amount of bass for each selection. The built-in FM radio is excellent. The connecting cable between the speakers is long enough for a 10 foot separation between them. A slight negative is that when the unit is first turned on the volume comes in at a high setting for some reason. My work-around is to select an unused input before shutting the unit off so that when it is again turned on it is quite. I then turn down the volume to a low level before going to an active input like the FM radio. The sound quality is fantastic.

3 out of 5
I have mixed feelings about this product. In many ways they are a great product and in some ways I think they fell short. Volume: when you initially turn on the unit the pre set volume is set way to high. For instance, when you initially turn the unit to the radio function you better have your finger on the volume down button because if your living in an apartment or somebody is sleeping in your house you will make enemies quickly! The pre programed volume is set way to high. Equalizer: there are pre set equalizer settings for rock, classical, country and jazz. The settings sound terrible and the sound engineers that the company brags about in their item description didn't spend much time in this important manufacturing step. At least you can can turn down the sub speakers and toggle the treble setting. But this is the only way i could figure out how to tweak the settings a little. I was very disappointed with this. Im old school and love equalizer settings because especially if you love vinyl records...having a good eq band is important. Digital display: Don't let the black plastic screens on the top of the speaker fool you. Initially it appears that it will have a nice digital display...but it doesn't. For the money id love to see lights and the even the words spelled out correctly...but when your toggling through the settings it will only give you abbreviations. I know this shouldn't be super important but its an easy way for manufacturers to add some bells and whistles to make their customers feel important. The display is only red and has only room for 3 characters. Sound quality: if you forget the bad eq settings I think your average person who doesn't have a background in audio will be happy with the sound. If we had a better option to toggle the sound settings I would have had this unit a 10 in the sound ratings! Appearance: this unit looks beautiful. Looks like it was designed with great taste and I think even a wife who generally wouldn't want big bulky speakers in her living room would be happy with these. They are sleak and clean very easily. The unit will go great with almost any furniture design or configuration. Plug ins: There are plenty of plug in options and this will definitely get you away from having wires running everywhere. There is an optical out for the tv, coax, 2 additional aux ports for different items such as cd player, dvd or phono. There is room in the front for 1/4 microphone jacks with an echo option for karaoke. This might be a selling point for people who enjoy singing along with their favorite music. There is BLUETOOTH! This was very easy to pair with my phone and no issues there. There is Fm radio as well. I loved the fact that there is additional Ports if you want to attach extra speakers. This unit is easy to set up. 5 stars for this! Remote: The remote is a standard remote. When using the optical plug in for the tv, the remote automatically runs my television as well which was pretty cool. I know there are items that I forgot but I wanted to speak on the items that are important to me. All in all i would give this a 3 out of 5 stars.

Hope you like to have your volume blasting!
Absolutely cannot stand the way it jacks the volume all the way up to 18 every time you turn it on (BTW a comfortable volume is 8-10, and a good volume for in the morning when others are asleep is 4). Why wouldn't it remember the last comfortable volume you had it on so that it returns to that volume when you turn it on. So I had to either cleverly get my Logitech remote to execute 10 volume down actions before it turned my TV on, or leave the speakers on all the time. Neither were a good option, sometimes the volume downs didn't complete before the TV audio was allowed to pass through, and leaving an amplified speaker on all the time isn't a good thing to do for the electronics. And if that wasn't enough, it makes no difference what you have the volume set at, when you connect to Bluetooth, the connection tone is also at an extremely high volume, to which I can find no way to lower or disable! I was willing to figure out how to make these issues work, but then noticed that the speakers make popping and crackling sound constantly (even when turned off digitally). I had to turn off the analog switch to shut them up. I'm returning them.

My shirt ๐ size XXXL THANK YOU!
I love everything! Clean crisp highs and super deep and rich lows! The last system I had was great...A technique's rack system! It had great sound but too many wires! This system takes no more than a couple of minutes to set up! Pairing is super easy!!! Definitely a must if you really love music!!!!
