This light was bought for use over a kitchen sink. The globe is very think glass and well made. Installation is easy and the light is fully adjustable to any height you want. Stripping the wire takes a little doing as the cord is encased in a clear vinyl sleeve.Also, when you look for bulbs for this light, make sure not to get any of the candle tipped bulbs. They are simply too long to fit in this light and the tip of the bulb will show below the edge of the glass globe.

I have a track light in my small'ish condo kitchen with five lights on it. I also have two recessed lights which are great for providing overall light but also as task lighting. I got the idea in my head of removing the recessed (pot) lights and putting in pendants. Bad decision. These pendants are very nice but I've since learned that pendants only work as "extra" light, not as a main light source. The darker the glass the less light you'll get. These ones are fairly light in colour so they do give off a fair bit of light but I found myself wishing I'd not given up my pot lights. I've since put the pot lights back and returned the pendants. Again, beautiful lights, quite large, and lovely glass but don't expect them to function for anything other than ambience.

We got the bronze/toffee swirl, and they're even prettier in person. We love them!

The mounting hardware was supposed to be "Oil Rubbed Bronze" but is black. Also the hanging wire has embossed printed information along the entire length and is visible. I have hung many pendants and never seen a hanging wire for the pendant with the wire information embossed on it. We like the globes but the rest of the fixture is really poor quality.Update: We just installed one of the 3 lights we purchased to see how it looks. The bulb outlet is somehow crooked and tried to straighten but did not want to force in chance we would break the ceramic coating on outlet. The globe/shade looks fine but do not think these are worth the price. You can buy glass globes at any big box store for 20 .00 and installation/hanging kit for 30.00 which is half of what these fixtures cost. The only reason i purchased these is that I could not fine the specific shade i was looking for in stock.

I bought these for my kitchen remodel and they look beautiful when off, but tend to have a slightly yellow glow to them when on. It may be the bulb. The craftsmanship is sturdy and the glass blown pattern is just as advertised. I would purchase again!

Ordered 2. Got one in 3 weeks and notified the other is another month out. Am underwhelmed by the product quality and packaging as well. Find a different brand.

When I ordered this item it did not show the top of the pendant. I don't want to give it a bad rating however, I was disappointed that the top of the pendant was not very nice looking. It has a dome shape made of what looks like polished chrome. It is not does not look like it is worth the $80+ dollars that I paid. Also the white string of paint going around the glass was not pretty like you see in the picture . There were places that looked messy and also places that it missed. I know it can't be perfect but it was not what I expected is what I am trying to say. I don't want to send it back because I had to pay for shipping to Hawaii so I will just SADLY have to live with it in my new kitchen. :o( One good thing about it was that the glass was very nice and thick. Oh well, live and learn.
