I immediately loved the bold smoky, savory taste of this mate. The smokiness was almost peaty, like you'd find in a Scotch whisky and the taste of the wood it was matured in comes on strong too, also like a well aged scotch.Definitely more flavorful than the regular release rosamonte I've bought several times before.But I discovered the hard way that it's MUCH stronger in its effects than other brands of Mate I've tried.It's easy to overdose if you're already used to other brands.To put it in perspective, I've never experienced any symptoms of excess from mate, no matter how much I used.It could be a varietal they're using or simply that this stuff is fresher and more effectively sealed.

I absolutely love this product and I'm glad I purchased it over my usual brand Nativa. It has a really natural aroma that makes smelling its presence just as exciting as actually drinking it. The flavor is also really unique and leaves a smokey aftertaste in your mouth that is very enjoyable. I cannot wait to try it again and I will definitely reorder this product in the future!Josh M.
