Uses Cone Filters
Yes, this is a wonderful coffeemaker. This is a second one purchased. Easy to use. Uses cone filters which I prefer over baskets. Looks great on the counter. The reservoir removes to add specific water levels for either iced or hot coffee. By far the best coffeemaker for my needs.

Water smells like gasoline
We ran it 7 times with just water and every time the water smelled like gasoline or melted plastic. Lord, spare me! Returning.

No auto shut off !!! it’s 2026 people. How is this not standard?
Here’s what you need to know there is no auto shut off, but it gets better, it’s recommended you unplug it from the wall every single day, or it will malfunction and overheat that is right in the instructions! Are you kidding me? Who’s got time for that so disappointed?

What a great little coffee maker!!!!
Compact, well-designed and functions as it should. My what a cup of coffee! Will I miss a programmed timer or the ability to grab a cup? I dont think so - its very fast brewing just 5 cups so I really dont need to program a start or to grab a cup while a big pot is brewing. Only regret is not waiting for a couple more days delivery to get that gorgeous red one, but the black is flat-black and very sleek too. BTW dont worry about filters fitting - a #2, folded as cone-filters are supposed to be, fits perfectly.
