She hates Christmas. He practically bleeds tinsel. Opposites collide at Poinsettia Paradise. Natalie Gonzalez-Torres has never been a fan of Christmas. As the manager of her family’s coffee shop, she avoids all the holiday kitch. But this year, her uncle assigns her to run a coffee cart at Poinsettia Paradise tree farm to prove she’s ready to become a full partner. The assignment feels like a lump of coal in her non-existent stocking, until a Christmas tree farmer helps uncover her inner elf. Too bad she’s already given up on finding love. Mason Lavigne bursts with expansion and improvement ideas for his family’s Christmas Tree Farm, but his dad still still sees him as a kid. This Christmas, Mason’s determined to prove his worth, especially after his dad mentions he’s thinking of selling. With his stress off the charts, helping Natalie is a bright light this holiday season as long as Mason’s not distracted from his mission by her sparkling eyes and quick wit. They both have something to prove but doing it together might be more than they can resist. Perfect for readers who love: Grumpy x sunshine Small-town holiday romance Family expectations and proving yourself Cozy, feel-good Christmas vibes Review: I absolutely loved this!! - This is a new author to me and I am so happy I found her. I love her writing style and the way she wrote this book. I have read so many reverse grumpy/sunshine Christmas books this season and this is one totally stands out as one of the best. The characters are very relatable and I fell in love with them. Natalie and Mason were complete opposites, but they played off each other so well. They were so cute and funny together. Mason was actually kind of awkward, but he was also charming and had such a witty sense of humor. Natalie was just straight up crabby and didn’t believe in love or relationships, but she just couldn’t resist Mason. Even though Mason was kind of awkward and sweet, there was also very strong chemistry and tension between them. Natalie’s hot and cold act did get a little frustrating at times, but I still loved the way she evolved throughout this story. I loved the ending and it just left me wanting more of them. Review: All the holiday romcom vibes - Natalie is the grump who doesn't love Christmas, she's at a very critical time in her life trying to prove herself so her uncle will make her partner at the family Cafe. Which leads her to working a coffee truck on a Christmas tree farm. Mason's (parents) Christmas tree farm. From the start, these two are really cute, even with Natalie being a grump. Then, Mason starts a fake dating rumor to save Natalie from being bothered by Diva Santa. A kind of forced proximity, banter, tension charged friendship ensues while Natalie tries to guard her heart from making her parent's mistake. It's cute and cozy with sweet Christmas vibes. Would I recommend? Yeah Spicy? Yes, but only a scene or two

Loved this grumpy x sunshine holiday romance!
Janine Amesta never disappoints in my opinion. I love that Natalie truly is the grumpy to Mason's sunshine in this holiday romance. I also loved how Natalie and Mason had trying to prove themselves to their families in common. My favorite parts of the book were the small but sweet and thoughtful ways Mason showed he cared about Natalie and the point where Natalie realized it was okay to give in to her love for Mason. I now want to read the rest of the Love in El Dorado series.

A very realistic life/love story.
I wasn't expecting what I got when I was finished with this book. This is not your usual sweet Christmas love story. This was about two people who came across as someone you could be friends with, would be neighbors to, etc. The reality of Natalie being a "scrooge" and Mason be a a Christmas true believer and how to mix and come out on top is a good part of this story. I love Christmas feel good stories but this book was more than that. A very good read.

Easy and fun chick-lit
I really liked this book. Great character development and beautiful sense of place. There was a good balance between description and dialogue. Easy to read when you just want to get away from it all. Best part - a Happily Ever After.

Cute story
Although the holidays are over I had this book in my library to read. Cute story. I could have done without the sex. Not a lot thank goodness. Overall this was a good story.

awesome book
I really enjoyed this story! Mason and Natalie are so opposite, but deep down they love the same things. Time and conversation along with friends and family helped them see their love.

A sweet Christmas romance
This is one of those books that I just couldn’t get enough of. The characters were so much fun. Natalie made me laugh with her quick wit, always knowing just the right thing to say. They are total opposites. Natalie wasn’t into dating, but Mason wanted a relationship with her. Natalie hated Christmas and Mason worked on his family Christmas tree farm. I enjoyed seeing them grow closer and Natalie learning to trust Mason. The secondary characters added so much to the story too. The diva Santa was a hoot! This is the perfect Christmas book if you’re looking for something a little bit different with some emotion and some great laugh out loud moments.

New to Me Author
This new to me author has provided a sweet contemporary romance with a golden retriever H and black cat h. I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of the characters, their back stories, and the breath of freshness brought to a familiar trope.
