If you are reading first time for the CSE go and get it. Because languages are simple and easy to understand. You can build your foundation on the basis of this book.....!!!

Good book to understand the concepts but beware of mittal books, they sell only used products with lot of defects

It was very tough subject for me but now its easy and every topic is understable

language is a bit shakespearean.....words used arent that hi-fi but the sentences make little sense in many important topics. makes it difficult to grasp concepts. and really, psir paper is all about understanding, not memorizing....a topper told me that. otherwise a very good book for psir....heywood may be a good alternative, but 1 source gives mental satisfaction. if more than 6 months before prelims, buy heywood political theory and ideologies for theory part. heywood politics also if you have more than a year for beginners. then gauba can be skimmed. else if paucity of time op gauba and shubra ranjan notes are sufficient.

Too much theory

Nyc book and cover all topic of political theory ... and useful for upsc optional subject political science ....👍.
