Piteba Nut and Seed Oil Press and D2 Cap for Pressing Olive Oil with the Piteba Press

Great product. It was a little smaller then expected but overall we are happy with this non china made product. We feel this company has gone the extra mile to educate its customers about the dangers of the metal used in China made presses. This is a lot for the company.

Doesn't work for olives. Capacity too small, and takes 2 people to operate-one to keep stuffing olives in and the other to keep turning the crank. It would take forever to grind enough to make any decent amount of olive oil. A better solution is posted online using a top of the line kitchen disposal in an old sink. It is a well made unit, sturdy. And may work for nuts or fruits other than olives. But forget olives.

more difficult to use than appears

Was disappointed in the D2 cap for the olive press. VERY difficult to get on and off. The threads do not match well. Rusts very quickly. And the seeds jam the screw very quickly. must take the whole thing apart and clean it after doing only twenty or so olives.

Did not make much oil despite trying different kinds of olives.
