Unsafe Knockoff Product
I bought this charger as a replacement for my old Apple charger that stopped working. It suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. Cords still look fine. In Apple products, there is a replaceable adapter that connects the cord to the wall. So when this stopped working, I tried to disconnect it. Turns out this is a false piece, attempting to look like the Apple product, which is most likely NOT MagSafe. My computer is not taking charge, so it is also possible this has damaged my computer. I have ordered a new charger which will hopefully work better than this one. I wish I would not have bought this and would love my money back, as this is not what it says it is.

Reliable - would buy again
I ordered this charger for my 2012 Mac Air when my original Apple charger died. I was honestly, surprisingly well pleased with how well this charger worked for my laptop. It holds up for a long time too and charges fairly quickly. I first purchased my charger in December of 2018 and just purchased a new one on September 3rd, 2019 because an electrical issue in our home shorted out the first replacement charger I purchased. I feel confident in saying that had the electrical issue not occurred I would STILL have my first replacement charger. So due to its reliability, I went ahead and purchased another one just like it. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy it again!

Works well... until it doesn't
I used this at my workplace so I didn't have to carry my charger back and forth. It worked well until it suddenly sparked, emitted a smoky smell, and made my computer black out for about 10 minutes. I thought I had fried my laptop. ***THIS ONLY HAPPENED BECAUSE I HAD ACCIDENTALLY CRUSHED THE CORD BETWEEN TWO HEAVY THINGS***. If you take care to not crush the cord, I think that the charger will work well for a very long time.

You get what you pay for.
Don’t waste your money. I bought this item last October as of today, it stops working. Yes, it’s cheap, but if you have fork out money to buy one every 7 months, you’ll end up paying more and a death computer...no working charger. STAY AWAY.
