A Tantalising Read!
In the third book in the Haunted Yarn Shop Mysteries, the town folk in Blue Plum are looking to celebrate the Blue Plum Preserves, with a festival and a skit that has been nicknamed the "Piglet War". However, not all is fun and frivolity when a person is accidentally shot during the skit. However, afterwards it seems that it wasn't an accident at all. This is how much I love the Haunted Yarn Shop Mysteries: before purchasing this book I didn't even read the synopsis at the back. I know that every new mystery by Molly MacRae I will love, and they are always auto-buys for me. I was ready to dive in with the Thank Gosh It's Fiber group! Having done this I had no clue who the victim was, which was actually a fun experience. Straight off I saw a few disliked people that could be the victim, and actually guessed right! However, finding the killer.... well I never saw that one coming!!I'm a bit of a yarn geek and I loved reading about everyone's projects, and the spinning... oh yes I loved the spinning demonstrations during the festival. I also loved learning more about Kath's friend, the friendly ghost Geneva. Her story is slowly unfolding, and I love how we get to hear a little bit more of it with each books. I'm happy for this story to drag out, because if Kath solves Geneva's own death, will that mean no more Geneva? That would be very sad, because Geneva definitely brings a element of fun and spontaneity to the stories. This is a fun series and the latest book is a fantastic whodunit. Even though the killer seemed obvious when it was revealed, I never solved it in time. Maybe I will next time!!

Spinning me
to sleepless nights this book was great of course I read it when it first came out but I remember that it keep me going form page one to the very end. I also thought along the way that Clod was not an over bearing ego having male pig I was wrong so so like other towns the reenactment starts at the historical Blue Plum Festival would could go wrong a shot rings a person is down and she's not moving OMG she's dead and that is not part of the reenactment so what's a weaver to do what solve the crime since it happened in her store and wouldn't you know it no saw a thing. Kath the TGIF girls and Geneva start investigating but somethings wrong with Geneva she's having flashbacks of he past and Kath had found Grams secret dye recipes will the TGIF girls save the day will Kath figure out what happened to Geneva in the past and what about Tenn and Clod who will she chose read Spinning in her Grave to find out.

This is pretty good
I have enjoyed this series and am enjoying it more and more as it goes along. The Ghost character is a real hoot in this one and has developed into quite a rascally character with attitude... and I loved it. This book has some amusing incidents that keep you reading and interested. The twins are back and causing mischief as usual. I am a little tired of the Sheriff and wish she'd give him a slap down once in a while and put him in his place. But, even there, she seems to be developing a stiffer spine as the story progresses. All in all, I'd recommend this as a good read and I will definitely be following up on this story. I'd love to see more of the ghost character, and a hope there will be a worthy love interest heading to town soon.

Hauntingly good
What happens when you combine knitters, spinners, quilters, crafters and murder? You get an entertaining story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. With clues and questions a plenty, this book takes you on an interesting journey from a knitting goal they are trying to meet to solving murders with each group member trying to contribute. A delight to read from beginning to end. I HAVE GOT to get this whole series and read it start to finish! LOVE IT!

Head over toes
Alright a poor attempt to be clever. But I knew that Molly is not one to let clues be obvious so solutions I kept coming up with in my head just didn't fit. So I was on my toes through out smoothly flowing chapters. Molly makes me want to my own Geneva, if for no other reason than to have an excuse, ah alibi to myself for talking to myself. Good job, but now I to wait for months for the adventure with Kath. Gad, I'll just sit in the dump till the new book comes out.

Wonderful Book
This is the third in the series of Mysteries that take place in the fictional town of Blue Plum,TN. I for one prefer to find out the details of the book by reading the BOOK rather than a review of the book. I love this series. I wish I could visit Blue Plum in person but will be happy to continue to visit it in book form. I hope this series has many more installments to go. The only secret I will reveal is that I have added rhubarb to my shopping list.

Series Continues to Be Great
It is hard to continue a series and make it flow for several books but Molly MacRae seems to have this nack. The scene of the yarn shop and its group of knitters still solves mysteries and it seems to be growing. It is always a challenge to guess the murderer by the end of the book. A new twist was added as she now has both both brothers interested in her so can't wait for next book to see who wins out.

enjoyable read
I enjoyed reading this book. A good storyline and characters, including a miserable ghost who helps solve the murders.

3rd instalment
Great read and the light dusting of new information about Geneva is a teasing temptation to read the next book when it comes out. Also I really like the slow and light romantic development between joe and kath. I have read lots of other murder mysteries and often the lead character is thrown into a romance as fast as the writer can manage, this slow development between Kath and Joe is more believable especially due to Joe's questionable past.I only gave this book 4 stars because catching the murderer and who it turned out to be seemed to clunky he really should have been either slimey-er or angrier to be believable.I wait impatient for the next instalment of this great series. Ah....
