A First Book of Quantum Field Theory,

Best Book for Introduction
This is perfectly the first book to start QFT , as a part of MSc syllabus. Very lucid and starts from the scratch , with nice introductions to Hamiltonian Operators and Classical Field Theory and stretching till Std. Electroweak theory. After completing this , one may go with Peskin, Schoreder for advanced learning and researches.

A brilliant introduction to Quantum Field Theory
For the uninitiated, quantum field theory can seem to be a challenging foray into an unseen world of symmetries, particles and of course fields! This book by authors Dr. Amitabha Lahiri and Dr. Palash Pal takes the readers acquainted with basics of quantum mechanics and introduces them to much larger and sensible universe of relativistic quantum mechanics, second quantization, gauge theories and quantum electrodynamics - the very theories developed in twentieth century which took the scientific world by storm with their far more accurate and recognizable approaches at understanding nature around us. The book takes pretty neat way to educate the learners, helping to assimilate the basics through calculations & exercises and leaving room for questions on finer details. It is recommended that a student should go through this book before being introduced to the usual QFT book by Peskin & Schroeder AKA the Bible of QFT and continue to read them side by side afterwards.

Must Buy for Beginners
A great book for the beginners. Probably the easiest book on the subject which will give an easy and clear conceptual overview on Quantum Field Theory. Helps to understand comparatively complex things in a very simple way. Just love it.
