you using original screws, because I think is too long ?

Yes, i use the original screws and yes, i do think they are too long too. Though they only slightly pres on the fins of the rad so no damage to the core.

can this work in an atx case ?

It depends on the case, but most ATX cases designed in the last few years will be able to take a 240mm radiator. If you are looking at this slim radiator you will have ~10mm less depth taken up by the rad which can make the difference in some tight cases. The best bet is to check the manual for the case if it is available online, most recent cases will at least mention 240mm radiator support if it is supported.
