Review: Helpful in the maintenance of my older AC - My AC maintenance company recommended these for my older carrier units. They advised that they help go a long way in reducing the bacteria buildup and the pinkish color gunk that can come out of AC units. I’ve been using these for a year and had no problems and continue to use them as I have my units meet maintenance and serviced. I would recommend you consulting with your service provider for your individual unit but for mine they’ve worked great. Review: It Works! - Live in Florida where clogged drains are common. I was in the HVAC trade my entire working life and recommend these 100%. I cut it into 3 pieces and use one piece every 6 months. Haven't had a clogged drain in over 6 years.
