Good tea for making iced tea.

This tea stays brown even in the pot 2nd day and warmed up. most other teas go a grayish brown the first day. both with milk. It tastes good but it was the brown that I noticed as different and better.

I'm so glad I tried this based on someone else's review. I have been disappointed in most decaf teas. Many taste sort of soapy to me, not quite the right word but something off. There is a Twinings or two that is at least missing that off-note, but I missed the astringent tang of real tea. Thompsons, you can brew into a very strong cup with some bite to it, and one bag will make a strong large mug (I think our mugs are around 12 oz.) I like to brew it between four and four and a half minutes, covered with a small dish. But I've also lost track of it and left the bag in "forever" and if you like "bite," it is still good!

The other reviews were right. Best tasting decaf tea for when you want/need a cuppa but not the caffine!

If you want a strong, decent decaf tea as compared to what is available in the US such as Red Rose, Tetley or store brands, this is very good. It tastes like tea and not hot water. Very similar to Barry's decaf. I gave it 4 stars because it's not my ideal taste. By comparison I love regular Red Rose tea, their decaf is quite tasteless.

Very tasty even though there's little cafeine. The diference between the decaf tea, and regular tea is very small, I am enjoying both morning, with caffeine, and at night without caffeine. I would like some measuement of how caffeine is left in the decaf tea. A wonderful choice..

I've tried many types of grocery store and mail-order decaf black tea and Thompson/Punjana decaf tea is one of my favorites. Tea bags are large squares so I can get a relatively strong MUG of tea whereas a standard Tea bag is good for only a cup. Price has double in last couple of years but so have most other teas and coffees, even herbal teas have at least doubled in $$.

I have to start by saying I’m a bit of a tea snob. I have tried so many different decaf teas and most of them taste pretty much like “ pond water”. I’ve been useing Typhoo decaf because it’s pretty good ,however it went from eleven dollars a box to twenty dollar practically overnight… there’s no way I can afford that. I’ve been lulled into trying different brands by reviews left on Amazon only to be sorely disappointed. I had never heard of this brand and there really wasn’t a bad review, I thought,” Yeah sure, more pond water”, but I have to say that I was so pleasantly surprised to find a decaf that was even better than my prized Typhoo, and to learn that they use Assam tea was a win, win for me, and the price is the best part. I know have a favorite decaf tea that is truely second to none.

I'm very picky about tea. I have half a cupboard full of teas, gifts and purchases of my own, looking for a full-bodied brew. The conundrum: I LOVE a robust black tea but need decaf beverages after noon if I'm planning to sleep at all that night. Thompson's Decaf Black Tea is hands-down the best I've found. Full of smooth flavour, no metallic aftertaste that comes with some brands, and allows me to get my full quotient of shut-eye. An expensive treat but so totally worth it. Highly recommended.

I have to drink decaf, and so many decaf teas are awful, even blends I used regularly before having to drop the caffeine. This is my favourite, of all the decaf teas I’ve tried. I even have a bag of them in my handbag for when I’m out and about, so I can have a decent drink in a cafe. Not the cheapest of decaf teas I’ve, but worth every penny
