Sturdy, Convenient, Comfortable
I have some mobility issues and sometimes need to use crutches. These are easily packable in a standard sized suitcase. TheyMay fit in a carryon, if you do not have a lot of stuff packed in it. These are very sturdy and do not make noise. I found these to be very comfortable and easy to adjust to a perfect size. The convenience and comfort were well worth the purchase and these are very sturdy. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these.

The real deal
Take a look at the handles on these crutches. Unlike their competitors, who have handles that are screwed onto the frame, these have handles that are created by the frame itself curving. That makes them quieter and more stable. I also love how these quickly fold. It makes it easer to put them aside in a restaurant or in a car. You know if you prop up crutches against a wall they WILL fall down. These are well made and worth the very reasonable price.Adding to my review after having them for awhile: These are now half the price I paid for them, and they are still great crutches. If there is ONE area for improvement it is that the rubber tips wear out quickly because the metal tubes cut through them. If you buy replacement tips you will see that they have a metal washer in the bottom to prevent this from happening. Easy to swap out and still a great product.

Much better than traditional crutches!
The traditional crutches my son used after a knee injury dug hard into his armpits (he's a BIG boy!). Purchased these, and they are much more comfortable. Sacrifices a bit of sturdiness due to the adjustable design, but again, my son is big, and he never felt unstable on them. Another advantage is these can be broken down for travel if necessary.

Great
I am using one crutch and this is perfect. The design is less bulky than a standard old fashioned crutch. It is comfortable. I have arthritis in my hands but this crutch does not aggravate it. And besides it is much nicer looking!!!

Easy to assemble, but ...
Got these in preparation for foot surgery. One of the little clips that is supposed to snap into place through a hole won’t budge. I had a couple of people try. They feel comfortable enough, but I don’t trust them to stay together. I’m going to borrow a friend’s regular wooden crutches instead. These were a waste of money.

Chic!
I thought they might be gimmicky, but was tired of my big thick aluminum macho crutches, which are about the same under the arms. As an old lady I wanted some elegance, and foldable would be good. These do satisfy. The color is burnished dark gray, not pale aluminum-- they look like carbon fiber. Actually they are very light, too. The buttons you pinch are brass and look really distinguished, a bit military. Most important, I can pinch them easily to move the inner pole, and I have very little strength in my fingers! This will be helpful if I bike or fly. There is now a washer inside the rubber foot cap, which protects it. From the front, they look like a common cane; then you see the tips of the underarm curves-- and these look like they might last longer than the ones on my old crutches, which very soon lost their cap and tore the foam. I liked the new one so much I bought it again, so I have a pair. Saving the old ones for work in the garden!UPDATE: the old aluminum ones caught on something and the end broke right off, dropping me flat. (Sprang up again.) So I am getting a second pair of these, total only $10 more than the aluminum ones. . The pair I got two years ago are still elegant, still strong, just fine. Just want a new pair for Paris!

Not worth the "savings"
The frame is sturdy and it does break down into smaller parts BUT either the handle range is too limited so the lowest setting is still too high for me, or it's an issue of the top just being uncomfortable (more so than the unfold able ones you get from the doctors). It also won't matter that they were 2-4x more affordable than other pairs I was looking at if it's 30x less durable - the tips break down after only a day of use!

Excellent cane, WARNING: NOT A CRUTCH
I love this as a cane but they are not crutches. I like it because it is far more stable than a regular cane, and because it folds up, and it's not ugly like standard aluminum crutches. But if you read the very small print in the user's manual, it says that they are not made to bear full weight. In other words these are NOT CRUTCHES. Crutches are made to bear your full weight.I would give five stars if the description were accurate and warned against trying to use them as crutches.
