Stainless Steel Blade for Jack Lalanne Power Juicer - PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE ORDERING

I read the pro/con reviews and took the chance that it may not be on the con side. We’ll, not so great; but better than nothing. The sharp blade makes a world of difference, but it is true about the gap between the blade and the screen. Pulp guts in there and develops a heavy spot causing a major off balance. I have to stop the machine and clear it out and then continue juicing. Fortunately, my husband is a machine operator and is going to try to trim the plastic bottom of the blade so that it fits tighter to the screen. He already trimmed out the countersunk holes so the hold down screws would sit flush with the blade. All and all, would not buy replacement screen or blade. Get a new juicer!!!

I have an MT-1000 date code 0708 Jack Lalanne power juicer, and although this fits the spacing is less on this blade within the inner interface of the connection for the blade to the juicer. Therefore deeming it of less integrity than the OEM blade for this model. I get a lot of full leafy veggies like spinach and watercress in the outgoing bin for the pulp...pulp is whole veggies not pulp...I'll put the veggies in a few times to see, or I'll try a piece of paper to space the blade closer to the chute going in. You would probably be better off buying the blade and mounting it on the old mount

This new blade made a big difference in the performance of my juicer. The only thing I noticed is that you have to be careful not to try to tighten it too much as it will actually come loose again. Just need to tighten it until you feel it is secure and it will stay tight. Depending on how much you use your juicer, I would recommend replacing the blade once a year or so. I usually juice about 8 - 8 oz. juices every week.

When trying to juice spinach and broccoli it seems that there is more pulp that goes straight into the bin than juice. There's more waste than juice. I feel like I need to dump everything back into the juicer again because there's just too much waste. The blade is itself is fine, I guess. I just don't get very much juice. Something just isn't right about this juicer. I don't understand it. Sincerely, Mrs. Lambert

This part was made with a smaller gauge steel than the original. You could tell they didn't change the tapered bit drill depth used to make the two holes for mounting it to the plastic piece. The screws protruded a little bit. They actually stick out more than the blades! We had to drill out the hole with a tapered bit so the screws sat flush like the original part did. Other than that, the blades were really sharp! It functions well.

I bougth this last year and continues working as the fist day.

It's new and works just like it did when I first purchased my juicer several years ago. I hadn't realized how badly I needed to replace the old blade until I used my juicer the first time after using the new blade. I almost purchased a whole new juicer until I went online and saw how cheaply I could just replace the blade! The decision to replace the blade gave me a like-new juicer.

This Jack LaLanne Power Juicer replacement blade has our 4 year old Juicer working good as new (maybe better). We juice everyday. The old blade became too dull to work well. The new one at about $20 including shipping is a great deal! A new juicer would have been about $200. The seller provided excellent personal service when there was a slight shipping problem and cared deeply about customer satisfaction. Quite refreshing in this day and age!

Juicing once again! These blades are nice and sharp!
