A nice chess set, box is also board. Love the size which allows a good space between the pieces. I recommend it. I think the price could be a little high, but other sets are so much smaller and still want silly money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful carved high quality chess and draughs board *by S***I on 17 December 2016* Beautifully carved board and chess peices. Will look superb displayed on a table and very eye catching. Excellent purchase, fast despatch and worthy of a 5 star rating ### ⭐ Different chess set received to what picture shows *by K*** on 28 May 2020* The product in photo, is not the one received. I re-ordered again thinking an error had happened at the warehouse, but the second one was the same as the first.Plain chess pieces in colour , not 2 tonal as photo, green box, quality is good though, size is good, but just wanted what was being shown, and what I had paid for.Dissapointing customer service, when I contacted Amazon about this issue. ## Frequently Bought Together - Stunning HUGE Chess and Draughts / Checkers Hornbeam Wooden Set 50x50cm - THE BIGGEST ON AMAZON!!! - Connect 4 Strategy Board Game, Games for Kids Aged 6+, 4 in a Row - Ludo Game - Traditional Ludo Board Game for Kids & Adults --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/82528522-stunning-huge-chess-and-draughts-checkers-hornbeam-wooden-set-50x50cm](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/82528522-stunning-huge-chess-and-draughts-checkers-hornbeam-wooden-set-50x50cm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
