These pure white beeswax pellets are very easy to use for making homemade lip balm. They melted very well and quickly. Their texture is so soft and smooth and the lip balm turned out perfect. There is plenty that comes in this one pound bag and the cost makes it a great value. I would definitely order this one again when I need to get more. The scent is a light one and not overwhelming, and definitely reminds me of the days when I was younger and my dad had honey bees. We used to chew on the wax to get the honey out. These are 100% pure so I felt very comfortable using them, especially in our skin care product.

The scent is exactly what white beeswax suppose to smell like. It has a faint smell of honey mixed with beeswax left to sit in the hot sun. The product was well packaged and sealed. These beeswax pellets are easy to use. Because the wax is white , it allows you to add beautiful colors to your beeswax designs (candles, lotion bars and more). I love ordering from this brand. It's great quality and affordable.

The moment I received my package, I tore it open and started making some lip balm. The contents of the bag DID smell off, but - once I measured the wax out with my other ingredients - the stench seemed to disappear. It also melted nicely. (I'll update this with more information once my stuff is done cooling) Update: Okay, I'm sold. I got my finished lip gloss containers out of the fridge, and found that everything solidified quickly/cleanly and DIDN'T have any bad odors.

This is my first purchase of Beeswax for making my own bath and body products. I was skeptical of buying beeswax because of the reviews for both yellow and white beeswax saying the smell overpowers the fragrance in the finished product. I have used other waxes, but I finally decided to take the plunge and try beeswax for my body butter shower scrub bars. It did have a smoky scent when I opened the bag which I have read is because of the process to cultivate the wax (this may be the wrong term to use, I am by no means an expert.) However once a smaller amount was out of the bag and I was measuring out my other ingredients, the smell diminished significantly. The beeswax melted quickly and evenly (I use the double boiler method, so I am not sure how well these work in the microwave.) The finished product was indeed white and I could no longer smell the smoky scent. I did add a fragrance oil, but it is a very light scent so it didnt just mask the smoky smell, the smell was truly gone. It set up very quickly and my bars are solid, just how I wanted them. The beeswax was very easy to use and virtually foolproof as I am a beginner at DIY body products. I included a picture of my first product made with beeswax. I will definitely repurchase in the future.

Has a nice even melt point. Lotion bars and body scrub bars have been coming out great. I used up every last bit of it. I have since moved on to ordering in much larger quantities, and usually the more natural looking yellow beeswax, but I don't have a single complaint about this product. In fact, at time I have considered reordering, simply because the white makes such a blank and open background on which to add embellishements to my products. I would recommend this product for both value and quality.

I use this in balms and it works great. Melts easily and is white in color. There is no offensive odor with this unlike other beeswax. Great product for all your creations!

Great product! I use this in my Arthritis salve and heat it slowly in a double boiler just until melted with coconut oil, Shea butter and either Vitamin E oil or Olive oil, and the salve cools off to a beautiful soft and silky texture which is perfect for massaging my warming salve into sore joints and muscles. I highly recommend this product. It's important for me to be able to claim that all of the ingredients are 100% pure when I put my name on a particular potion. This is a staple in my home and will be ordering again very soon.

I literally looked at these for hours trying to decide which beeswax was the best. It seems that all of them have problems with the scent by some people. I decided to order this one. When I opened the bag, it did have a bit of a scent, but I think that it is just the wax itself. I did not think it was offensive as some say. I made a cutting board mix with this, and it worked great. I will be a repeat customer.
