Silverline Aluminium Shovel 1030mm (157544)

I bought a pair of these for shovelling cement, sand, grit and the resultant concrete. I would say they are nigh on perfect for this, the right width and length. The are also strong, easily strong enough for shovelling the afore mentioned materials and likely a variety of others too.They are so light that I almost felt it was going to float away when I picked one up. It was a semi jaw drop moment which indicates what a quiet life I lead.

Just what are you wanting a shovel light and strong

Four stars taken a star off for the two weeks wait for it to be delivered. Not tried it yet but looks like it will do the job intended for.

I bought this to shift a tonne of soil/gravel/rubble. Given the price, I thought this would pretty much ruin the shovel. However, apart from some scuffs it is pretty much as good as new. It is also very light, which has been a big help. I think it is excellent value.

Very light weight ideal to move sand or gravel around and at the salme time resistantto damage by stones. I moved a large amount of slate shingle.

Excellent tool that has been tried and tested for shovelling bark chipping at the allotment. Not suitable for heavy work.

Great lightweight shovel, at last I don’t have to struggle win heavy steel one
