These are my new favorites. I wanted something classic in style to go with both jeans and dresses. The critical features for me were comfort and a narrower opening at the calf. My legs are on the thin side, so a lot of boots this style don't look right on me because they gap around the calves. I still had extra room in these, so it's not like they're tiny in the leg, but they are cut narrow enough to look sleek rather sloppy. MUCH appreciated. They're also much more comfortable than the similarly-styled pair they're replacing--true to size, and I can wear them all day without pain (my job involves several hours of walking and standing per day, so they've been tested). They took no breaking in whatsoever--perfectly comfortable from day one. Thus far, they're also holding up well, so I'd say the quality is great for the money. In short, these aren't showstoppers, but they are very nice, classically styled boots that work well for every day or for going out. A great wardrobe staple, and a flattering fit for thinner legs. Very happy!

I've been searching for a pair of dressy black high heel boots to replace a pair of Naturalizers that I bought several years ago and that have since worn out and have been discontinued. These boots were it - and much cheaper! The style and fit is almost exactly the same with a feminine heel, nicely shaped toe box (even better than my Naturalizers which I found a little too pointy), the same soft fabric-like fitted shaft, and the same light-weight comfort. The shaft is unlined, very snug and a little stretchy, which is exactly what I was looking for. These are obviously not real leather (the pleather actually looks better when you're wearing the boots than in the photo) and not top quality construction but for the price, the style and comfort, it's an excellent deal.EDIT: Maybe I'm just sensitive to smells, but I'm removing one star for the bad petroleum smell of the synthetic leather. Hopefully the boots will off-gas over time and the smell will go away.

I love how these boots look! The higher heel gives them a classy look that can be worn with skirts or to dress up a pair of jeans. The B width foot is a fairly comfortable fit for my wide C/D feet, although after 3 hours or so I eased them off for a few minutes as they were starting to hurt. I really like how snug the top of the calf is to my leg. It's not tight, but there is no gap between my leg and the boot. I have 15"calves. When I first put them on I noticed that the ankles were very roomy. The material is very soft, and after several hours' wear the ankles looked slouchy. It's not a bad look but I preferred the slim straight line I saw when I first tried them on. I really like the softness of the leather, but I think the boots would hold up better if it were a little stiffer.

Amazing! They're nice for a cheaper style of boot. They don't really hug your legs, but maybe that's better so the fabric doesn't rip. I was surprised that an 8.5 felt very roomy. Perhaps I should've sized down to an 8. I have flat feet and usually get an 8.5 in sneakers so they don't look too big... but they always sort of fit snug.. and sometimes shoes like heels that have a high arch i'll need a smaller size. If wearing with socks, then order normal size, but if you plan to wear them with panty hose, then size down a half size.

Affordable, mostly comfortable, and attractive would be how I would describe these shoes. I bought these for a Tales from the Borderlands Fiona cosplay because the shoe had the perfect silhouette to the in-game shoe.Before modifying them I tried the shoes on and found that they fit comfortably and I didn't have any trouble breaking them in.I wore them for hours on end and for the most part I was comfortable, although the longer I wore then the more pain I had (after 5+ hours of walking around). Although because they are heels, I had expected to have a bit of pain. Thankfully it wasn't as painful as some of the heels that I own.Something that I loved about the shoe was that it was simple enough that I could easily make modifications to it.Overall it the shoe was just what I need for my costume!Photo of shoe with modifications.

I ordered these in a 6, and the box they arrived in said they were a size 6, but they felt a little tight. After a couple of wears, I happened to look at the bottom and saw that they are labeled 5 1/2. So they fit true to size, but you just have to make sure you get the right size. Since I've already worn them a few times, I can't send them back. They're okay, but not as comfortable as I think they would have been in the correct size. They look very nice for faux leather though. I think they're a great deal for the price.

Love these Chinese Laundry Boots. I usually wear a size 8 in regular shoes, but like to wear size 8.5 in boots so I can wear thick winter socks if needed. I love the look and how I feel in them, especially when I wear long skirts and dresses. The price is right too. I've been shopping around for high heeled boots to add to my "must-have's" in my closet for some time and I'm glad I got these. I don't think you will be disappointed with these boots :) They also arrived sooner than expected too which was a nice surprise :)

These are wonderful boots! I had to wear them in court, and I hesitated putting them on, worried that I would have to wear them all day, but my worries were unfounded. I wore them all day that day AND the next, and both days went well over ten hours. My feet were very happy, and I got several compliments, since these boots are pretty darned sexy, while still looking professional. I am tall anyway, and with these on, I towered over most of my male counterparts.
