Royal Sovereign, 30 pint Dehumidifier (RDH-330)

Started right up and does the job. Lots of nice settings.

If we could give ) stars we would. We previously had a Royal Sovereign dehumidifier and had very good results with it, so when it came time to replace it we again decided on the Royal Sovereign brand. Well, we ordered and received it, followed the instructions, plugged it in and got an error code EH (Hunidity sensor fault). Moved it to a difference location, same thing. So we returned it and reordered replacement thinking it couldn't happen twice. Well guess what, it did! The replacement has the same EH error code. Returning this one also and staying away from Royal Sovereign!

It works like a charm has reduced the mold in the basement

Forgive me, but I haven't bought this particular humidifier. What we did buy... More than 10 years ago! was 2 Royal Sovereign BDH-450's. That model seems to be discontinued, but I do would like to tell "the world" how incredible that machine was. We bought them for the basements of our two, 100 year old houses over 10 years ago. Plugged them in over a drain and literally forgot about them. Never cleaned the filter. Never shut them off fall/winter/summer/spring both running 24/7... 7 days a week... 10 plus years. They kept our leaky, musty basements dry and smelling good all the while.Just this week one of them has developed iced up coils and I suppose it's had it's day. The other is still going strong. So I imagine after a little research we will be buying another RS. Couldn't have been happier with the first two. Hope the new one lives up to it's ancestors example.
