After many tries and fumbling around got this to work on Mac Pro 5.1 running High Sierra. It is 5-6 times faster than my Mercury SSD in the SATA II slots. I used it with a Samsung 500GB 570 EVO Pro. It seems to need a 16 channel PCIE slot and the memory card goes in the lower left bank. No extra software needed. No need to use the included cables. Only drawback is that I cannot seem to boot from this drive. One star deducted for lack of documentation and one for no support contact info.
