Sounds amazing, you'd have no idea it was a synthetic membrane on the head. Its clear, deep and powerful sounding for any kind of music that needs it. Pair it with a kick or tom mic if you want to record it.

Parto dal dire che il reso è a carico dell'acquirente e non gratuito, quindi sostanzialmente non è per me conveniente resistuire. Io per altro non amo dare cattive recensioni ma stavolta sono deluso. Avevo pensato di acquistare un tamburello Meinl credendo di trovare alta qualità e invece c'è una pelle che a mio avviso è stata conciata male (ci sono ancora i peli) è spessa e poco morbida e questo fa si che il suono esca poco. Molto deluso

Compared to synthetic heads on hand drums this produces a deeper rich tone because of the goat skin head more base response for it's size. Humidity and temperature can affect tonal quality, but I like the tone of this really well. This is my smallest hand drum. It seems odd that there is so much difference in tone. I usually like the 22 in hand drums, but this produces an entirely different tonal quality that is deep and rich. Recommended. I may have to buy one in the 16 goat skin. My favorite hand drum is a 22 in Remo Renisance head. The 22 in Buffalo Drum has the most base response of any but this little 14 in drum packs a punch and is not as brassy as my 16 in Tar "Skyndeep" hand drum. I really enjoy this hand drum and would love to try their larger ones.
