Must Sees Amsterdam, a new international title joining the Must Sees series, highlights the best of this timeless city for a 24-hour visit, a weekend or longer. Tour picturesque canals; rent a bike; admire the Rijksmuseum’s Dutch Masters; explore Dutch countryside for iconic windmills, tulip fields, and Alkmaar’s cheese market. Stay in boutique hotels or a houseboat on a canal. Enjoy a simple meal at a cozy brown café or a multi-course dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Do it all with Michelin Must Sees! Review: Michelin Must Sees Amsterdam - We have always liked the Michelin Guides, and this one is excellent. No paid-for suggestions, just the best reviews of sights and restaurants. Review: Poor informatio - Not enough information about the city and the dutch people and the country. The map is also very poor on detail.

I expected more
This is a very basic guide . I was thinking of a tradicional Green Guide with some detailed información to visit the museums mostly on the major paintings. Only after it arrived I understood that it is a weekend visit guide , for this purpose you can have a guide for free in internet,

Did not take it to Amsterdam
Print very small. Okay if you have perfect vision and lots of light.

Disappointing...not enough information!
My husband and I are great fans of the Michelin Green Guides...we find them the most informative, user-friendly, and reader-friendly with beautiful illustrations and colourful pages. All important attractions are usually well-marked and star-rated with plenty of useful information on opening hours, ticket prices, where to buy tickets, transport and how to get there, a map of the area, a diagram or illustration of the building or structure etc. We couldnt find a green guide for Amsterdam so decided to go for this 'Must-See' version instead. Must say the 'Must-See' was very disappointing indeed. Aside from listing names of the must-see attractions and very (very) brief descriptions, there was no other useful or relevant information relating to any attractions...very frustrating. Hardly any maps, and the ones that were there were rubbish and useless. I ended up being very annoyed by this book. Thankfully we had sensibly also packed a Lonely Planet (Usually not my first choice due to drab monotone colours in their text pages) which ended up saving our life! Do not waste your money. Even the fact that it is small, compact and easily fits in a handbag did not make it worthwhile.
