My dog and I both like this brush. It does well with curly hair. It does well with the top layer of hair and gets it ready to use the comb. Hope it comes back to Amazon. I recommended it to other people then they said it wasn’t available on Amazon.

Perfect size

Nice color. But size NOT ideal for tiny toy breed dogs. I really wish there were a smaller version of this, that would work better for tiny, toy breed dogs (with a brush head about half the width of this one). With this current size brush head, I can brush my chihuahua's back & sides, but it is too wide/bulky/big to brush his chest or get between his front legs (the brush head is wider than my pet is). A half-size brush surface area, having a more square-ish, half-width brush head (about 2 inches square), would make it a FAR better brush for truly small dogs (toy breeds under 10 pounds). Besides being easier to use on very small dogs, a more compact, half-width brush head would also make it less bulky to pack for travel (& thus easier to bring along), for any small dog owner.

It is a bit large to hold for a 4 lb Maltese but she likes it. More difficult under her legs but she doesn’t fight me as much like old metal brush. I like it!

Good for both of my dogs. A puppy and a chihuahua.

This brush is more expensive than most dog brushes, but worth every penny! The brush is so gentle…my Westie-poo loves to be brushed. This was a great purchase and I highly recommend.
